  1. I noticed you haven't posted in the "Stop Demonizing Trump Supporters" thread. You should give it a read if you haven't.
  2. Oh for sure! Also important to keep these things in the news with actual data to back it up.
  3. But what's the point of the data if no one analyzes it and writes about it? Point is to inform the public! They're going to be doing more of these articles in the future and they should.
  4. It's good to reinforce. Before he left, sblfilms was saying that that mask mandates don't work. I've also heard many conservatives argue that none of these restrictions matter because Europe is dealing with an outbreak again when they have had more aggressive containment measures than the US as a whole.
  5. Are you trying to tell us that the spider has more self-awareness than you?
  6. He knows this too though, so I don't get where the overreaction is coming from. As for this article, I think the conclusion he's drawing is fair. I don't think we should demonize Trump supporters personally, but I certainly do not think we should coddle them either. It seems from the discussion of monuments with Fizzzzle that he actually wants to coddle Trump supporters and that I just vehemently disagree with.
  7. Yes and their analysis of the effect of containment measures on the virus's surge is important.
  8. Like he was constantly spamming "STOP DEMONIZING TRUMP VOTERS" in a way that was approaching our previously banned catchphrase. Yet he couldn't take a little lame nudging from Biggie and Boyle in GI?
  9. The sblfilms and GOH situation are not comparable at all and should not be lumped together. GOH was acting strangely from the beginning that he started to post here again and a GIF from Biggie drove him away? Get outta town....
  10. Thanks! I was looking for the middle article, but this is amazing, gracias! A classmate of mine in this data science bootcamp I just finished did his capstone project on predicting the COVID-19 positivity rate in Chicago. One of the most important features in predicting the positivity rate that his model found was amount of people in household, so I thought that was pretty interesting and wanted to give him that article so he could explore that more.
  11. I think you might be onto something here. The 3% positivity threshold is absolute bs. That's still very low.
