  1. I don't think he was trying to say you did claim otherwise. It's just the James Wood the actor stanning was getting a little out of control there for a second. He is a monumental piece of shit.
  2. Yep, that website is good stuff. I was using it yesterday to look up the hospitalization numbers.
  3. How Biden’s Foreign-Policy Team Got Rich - The American Prospect PROSPECT.ORG Strategic consultants will define Biden’s relationship to the world. Have you guys read this article from a few months ago? Kind of eery.
  4. Like I said earlier in this thread, I went through this exact issue a few years back. I had a totally normal upper endoscopy. Like, I didn't even show damage in my esophagus whatsoever. Still, I'd get the UE done if you don't feel better because esophageal cancer is super rare (you almost certainly do not have it) but a death sentence nonetheless. Not worth the risk in my opinion. Super easy procedure, too.
  5. You still have trouble swallowing food?
  6. Get the upper endoscopy for peace of mind.
  7. Ah, gotcha. Yeah I'd say the numbers aren't too bad if they match our numbers from the first wave after two months in lockdown. I don't see Murphy going into lockdown until mid December at the earliest, but probably not until January, if at all.
  8. Where are you getting these hospitalization numbers? We're at 2,568 hospitalizations right now and we hit a high of over 8,000 in the spring.
  9. it’s certainly not great! Just saying it’s nowhere near as bad as the spring. People have already wiped the supermarkets clean of toilet paper and paper towels. Incredibly frustrating.
  10. Two things driving this are the fact that testing has expanded massively and that outcomes have improved by a lot as well.
  11. Hogan is the type of Republican that would bring about the end of the Democratic Party. I'm glad that the GOP doesn't know this!
  12. Who is pushing to use the term? I don’t seen any pushes. I just see some people that use the term and some that don’t.
  13. I don't use it, I said! By the way, I asked my wife for her take on the term Latinx. She had never heard it before, so I explained to her what it was. Her reaction to it is not fit for polite conversation lol.
  14. I personally do not use the term because it feels forced and unnatural. But I have seen the term used by non-binary Latinos who feel better represented by it and I say, why not?
  15. What do you mean by "remedied?" Why would people stop using the term? There is absolutely nothing to suggest (or at least nothing that I have seen) that usage of that term, which has nothing to do with the Democratic Party by the way, is driving people to vote Republican. Remember it's a term that isn't even two decades old. I don't think it's up to a bunch of cis males like us to determine whether the term should be used or not.
  16. Why was that your takeaway from this article? All it said is that it's rarely used by most Latinos but we already knew that, no? I think the BLM and defund the police stuff was much more interesting.
  17. My younger sister had massive swelling in her right knee to the point where she couldn't even walk and our local hospital turned her away because her temperature was 99.3 and then 99.0. How unbelievably idiotic.
  18. Fair to say that they knew that they were losing Hispanic voters, but never imagined it would be at this level. I feel like Lujan Grisham would be our VP if they had.
