Here are your options.

To get from Harve to Melve via fast travel you need to port to Vernworth and take an ox cart to Melve.

Or you need to make your own fast travel locations with portable portcrystals.

I said harsher, not very negative. That's not the same for me, and I have no idea how to succinctly explain myself. So I'll just say this. Overall, I am happy and having fun. There are aspects I am unhappy with that have been mitigated by stepee's wallet.

This is EXACTLY why I had no hype leading up to the game. I knew what it would be from the very start and that IS disappointing.

Don't get me wrong. The game is very fun. It is like playing DD1 all over again. But that is also where the problem is. It is like playing DD1 all over again. It is not a new experience at all. It's a fun experience, but not new. I bet if I had played DD1 right before DD2, I personally would have been really pooping on DD2. If I had bought the game I would have been harsher than I have been, but @stepee buying it for me has actually caused me to have a better experience than I otherwise would have.

I watched the Joseph Anderson critique of DD1 and it's pretty spot on for the current game.

After hours of killing mostly small monsters, I realize I just need to focus on quests. It's not that I haven't killed the big boys. It's just that I have killed so little when all I want to fight are big monsters.
