It never fails to "amuse" me that during one of the interminable squabbles over Nagorno-Karabakh, Iran openly sided with and provided military supplies to Christian Armenia to be used against Muslim Azerbaijan because that's just how much Tehran despises Baku (and the feeling is mutual). Also, a gunman attacked the Azerbaijan embassy in Tehran two days ago and killed the head of the embassy's security service.

As @CayceG and I discussed on Discord, there is the not-completely-implausibe likelihood that these were Israeli drones launched from Iraqi Kurdistan.

The location of that facility is in the dead-center of Iran which puzzles me greatly as to how drones launched by an external party could even reach that location. Of course, the even wilder notion is that the drones were launched from within Iran itself.

There are unverified reports of strikes on military facilities in the cities of Tabriz, Hamadan and Karaj.
