Jason
https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2020/04/iphone-se-a-powerful-new-smartphone-in-a-popular-design/ The 4.7" screen seems like kind of a weird spot to land on. People coming from the previous SE will probably think 4.7" is too big, and I'd bet everyone else will think 4.7" is too small.
TwinIon
4.7" is the size of the 8, which is the most recent phone in this form factor (with the home button), so it makes sense to me that's the screen size they could make the cheapest. And cheapest is the real headline here, as Apple is again selling phones for $400.
Keyser_Soze
My current phone is an SE so maybe time to make the jump?
TheLeon
I have an iPhone 7 that I plan to keep until it stops working. This is probably what I'll get to replace it.
TheLeon
Well, I kept looking at this, and I finally ordered one. I felt a little guilty since my 7 was still working fine and I didn’t need a new phone. Two days after placing the order, the lightning port on my 7 stopped working, so now it won’t charge. Thanks, Apple!
