DPCyric
I figured some people here might be really interested in this one! I might get in at the $10 tier for now... really not hot on the unpainted minis unfortunately but might up my pledge at a later time. Slug
Looks neat! I never played the original. I can't see myself owning this, but I'd absolutely give it a play if one of my pals had a copy.
Mercury33
I just came across this on Facebook today. Pretty impressed. I LOVE what they did with Fireball Island. Amazed I never heard of the original but it looks like they did an equally good job expanding and improving upon the original. Gonna back it at the $10 level to start but I plan on upgrading to full level plus the neoprene “board” over the next few months.
Mercury33
I caved and backed it at $125. I’ll add $100 and $45 more at some point to get the expansions and the bigger board.
Mercury33
Just thought I’d bump since this is finally beginning it’s first wave of distribution. Anyone else back it?
Kal-El814
I saw the prod copy played at Pax Unglugged, but I didn't back it. I never played the original so the nostalgia draw wasn't there, but it looks so ridiculous on the tabletop that I may bite on retail depending on impressions. Mercury33
Finally arrived last week and played a couple games. It’s amazing. The app integration is so well done. Like it handles a lot but it never feels like you’re not playing a board game still. The tower is fantastic. I mean it’s superfluous, it doesn’t do anything you couldn’t have done with cards/dice but the atmosphere and sounds just ooze out of it. Very simple and easy to teach rules but in depth enough that it’s not watching other peoples turns. I can already say that this will be far and away our most played game this year.
