Jason
Quote Our newest justice, however, was on a whole other page. While pressing ACLU lawyer Cecillia D. Wang on her argument that the law requires prompt government action, Kavanaugh said, “Congress knew it wouldn’t be immediate,” and that, “What was really going through Congress’s mind in 1996 was harshness on this topic.” https://lawandcrime.com/opinion/it-sure-looked-like-kavanaugh-wasnt-such-a-fan-of-due-process-at-yesterdays-oral-arguments/ Bart the Mindreader
Anathema-
Considering that originalism is nothing more than wordplay to achieve a partisan political result, it seems right in line to me.

Joe
The way a justice questions isn't always how he/she will opine in the end. I'd wait until he writes actual opinions. I did enjoy reading about that hearing and how Breyer and Gorsuch doubleteamed the federal lawyer.
