Absolutely absurd how guerilla marketing it was to make the hot chips line take off. I was in Hungary and even saw hot Cheetos there. It's the directorial debut of Eva Longoria as well, and I'm glad it seems she nailed it. It seems between this, Tetris, BlackBerry, and Air, we're getting a lot of "creation of brand/thing" stories. Isn't that the Gran Turismo movie? It feels like Sony made a contest to find a driver to make a movie about finding a driver who's a gamer who played Gran Turismo. The whole thing is 100% marketing. I was thinking of the ones that actually succeeded (so far) like The Witcher, TLOU and The Mario Movie. Sony ones seem to be odd. Like the Uncharted movie was bad, I didn't hear about a sales bump from that.
