Is there any better feeling than when your appetite finally comes back after being sick?

I've spent the last 4 days being alternatively so sick that I couldn't even keep water down or just barely able to keep a can of Campbell's Chunky down (fun fact: a can of campbell's Chunky is only like 230 calories, and that's if you drink all of the broth), and tonight my appetite finally came back.

 

I went so far as to get a sandwich from Subway, and I'll be damned if I didn't nearly swallow that sandwich whole.

 

Why Subway? .... Not sure I could do anything fried/griddled yet. The thought of eating most of that still makes my body go "eeewww"

I've never really lost my appetite when sick. Covid was the exception and I did eat like 6 biscuits w/ creamed chicken.

Pretty much any time I’m actually sick (so not just a cold) I completely lose my appetite and about 7lbs with it. I make sure to massively overcompensate after I feel better!

I just took my first poop since getting sick, too!
