I kept trying to place him.  But he did get that creepy vibe down pat in both those rolls.

I enjoyed it enough... would have worked better if they didn't try so hard to market this as a comedy. It's just not funny enough.

I watched it yesterday and felt the same way. I don't think it's funny enough to be a comedy, it's not dramatic enough to be an effective drama, and I don't think it's satirical enough to be effective satire. I thought the main ending with the dinner was actually very touching, sad, and easily the most effective part of the whole thing. More of that and less of the completely pointless Leo / Cate thing would have been welcome. The stinger and everything about it felt like it came from another movie entirely, I hated it.
