Kal-El814
Unity Workers Question Company Ethics As It Expands From Video Games to War WWW.VICE.COM The lack of transparency around the game engine maker's "GovTech" work, which contracts with the Department of Defense, has concerned employees. This is an interesting article; I wasn’t aware of the extent to which the engine was being used in the capacity that’s being outlined here. It’s strange to think that someone interested in developing engines / AI for gaming could have their work applied to military applications specifically, even though the relationship between some games developers and the military industrial complex has been sticky for a while now.
