You are John Bacon, a peasant living in a small village in the kingdom of Larion. You have a pitchfork and nothing else. You dream of getting out of your village and having an adventure. You go to your fields and begin working. You look up and see  Marceline, the beautiful princess. She is going to throw a ball. Would you go to the ball?
 

> You don't go to the Ball.
 

You decide not to go to the ball. Instead, you go home, where you play with toy doughboys. You dream about going on a grand adventure. One day, you are awakened from your sleep by loud explosions.

 

> You go back to sleep.
 

You close your eyes, and return to sweet dreams.
You awake again. You look around. The sky is dark, and angry red and purple clouds float by.

 

> You get out of bed and take a piss.
 

You walk over to the window. You open the window, and you piss all over the side of a building. The piss soaks into the side of the building.
You walk back into your room.

 

> You go back to sleep.
 

You awaken in the morning. You look out your window and see a soldier, battle-furious, pantsless, spectacled, barking orders at nearby soldiers.

 

> You ignore. you must tend your crops.

 

You walk outside. You go to your small field and begin tending to it. Farmhands, workers who tend the fields, slaves and whatever else you can muster up tend to your field.

 

> You perform the duties of a peasant.
 

Later that day, you stroll around the village. Everyone else in the village seems to be doing the same: going from house to house, drinking, carousing, and generally being loud.

 

> You go home. Ignore the jolly people.

 

You walk down the path to your house. You reach into your purse and pull out a coin. You give it to the little boy who runs by with a bunch of flowers. You go in your front door.

 

> You open the door.

 

You walk down the hallway, which is dark and decorated with cobwebs. You reach the door to your bedroom, and open it.
You walk inside your room.

 

> You go to bed.
 

You walk over to your chest. You open it and grab your blanket, a cutesy patchwork blanket with a blue border and yellow flowers. You spread it out on the ground and lay down.
