Quote Johnson is openly considering a third term despite Democratic challengers already lining up to challenge him and his pronouncement while running for a second term in 2016 that it would be his last. Quote "That pledge is on my mind, it was my preference then, I would say it’s probably my preference now," Johnson said during a Friday media call. "I’m happy to go home." Fizzzzle Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I wonder how it will play out. What kind of radical goon is going to try to primary him if he does? Quote
Chairslinger Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 That would be all of our preference, Ron. This could be the start of a trend. If the past four years saw a few retiring Congressional Republicans buck the party and Trump the Biden years could be marked by retiring Republicans loudly blowing up the whole chamber to sabotage everything while somewhat preventing the blowback to the party. Like Johnson delaying the Covid bill despite the fact that just about nobody wanted him to. Quote
Firewithin Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 hes only saying this until he knows that the voter suppression that is probably being planned is going to work Quote
