Considering everyone's ever growing backlogs it is absolutely absurd to me personally. Gamers complaining about a lack of games when we can't even keep up with the games that are currently released as is. I mean in the previous two years, we have seen several games released that would make anyone's all time great list in their repsective genres not to mention a bunch of really good AA and indie games (I'm not even INTO the indie scene). I get that these outlets need to have something to write about to in order to drive traffic but to label this whole generation as "The worse since before the NES" is ludicrous to me... someone who actually PLAYED games before the NES generation. I never heard of this game but it looks interesting. Reminds me of the Respawn Jedi games a lot.

I wonder if this character is sexy enough for the incel crowd, though.

And the credits roll... such a great game. Like playing an anime in terms of the action and characters. Looking forward to seeing what Team Ninja Does next. In the meantime, I have Nioh, Nioh 2 and Wo Long to play. May even check out Strangers of Paradise at some point.

You're not really playing a "role" in God of War though. You're playing as Kratos and don't really have any say in shaping his character at all.

Oh i misread your post as he's the one thing you liked MOST  She claims that he becomes more likeable especially if you played Phantom Liberty, but I haven't played that yet so I don't know. he definitely didn't grow on me in the base game... like at all.

I get this is her personal list but... man. Also she limited herself to one character per franchise. Even with that, I would not have picked Cloud from FFVII (Sephiroth or Tifa) or ANYONE from Cyberpunk 2077. Maybe my mind will change once I finish Phantom Liberty. I'll have to think about my own list.

The even bigger irony is that the only reason she was on SNL in the first place was to promote this very movie

Actually it's because I have too much I'm playing right now. Finsihing up Rise of the Ronin and then gonna finish up Dragon's Dogma 2. After that I'm gonna tackle some games in my backlog like Armored Core VI, Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, Wo Long etc.  I have a TON of games and I don't see this one as a Day One buy when I can wait and get it cheaper or free down the line if it hits PS+. Honestly there's like two or three games that I want that I haven't even bought yet that are ahead of this  I played the demo... it's good but it can wait.
