Having missions locked behind pre-orders and/or having to buy premium editions is nothing new.
Not at all... slow news day with the internet looking for something to rage about.

Game is so good that I went back and Played Ninja Gaiden Sigma just to appreciate how far Team Ninja has come
You know you can create a build that has a lot of Ryu's moves from Ninja Gaiden right?

Rise of the Ronin mostly with some Dragons DOgma and Helldivers mixed... that's my current rotation.

Finally saw this today... fun monster flick despite some iffy CGI. I don't know if they were rushed or the budget was cut (they were probably rushed for time given the amount of CG in this movie) but some of the VFX didn't have the same level of detail as the previous films or even in some instances the Apple TV show. And speaking of the Apple show there's literally ZERO tie-in to it except for the existence of more portals I to the Hollow Earth guess. Despite that there's fun monster bashing action here... they can keep making these as far as I'm concerned but I don't know if we're going to get another Warner bros./Legendary Monsterverse movie... time will tell.

Saw another trailer for this today at the Theater... I'm in.

First time I saw NG+ was Miles Morales and that was literally just making the game harder with no new content.

I finally decided to play this after buying it almost three years ago (I can’t believe that it’s been that long). I’ve been enjoying it. It’s been better than I was expecting it to be. The story is cinematic, the graphics are really impressive, gameplay is a mix of combat and platforming and there’s a lot of exciting scripted events and set pieces.
I really liked playing as the different Avengers in the beginning to get a feel for what each is like, and after the prologue the real adventure begins with you playing as Kamala Khan who I like in the Ms. Marvel show and that I like in this game as well.
The story has been entertaining, the beat ‘em up combat and platforming is a lot of fun and there’s been exciting events constantly happening.
Yeah the single player campaign and gameplay is very fun. They game fell apart as a live service game, but they NAILED the gameplay of each Avenger and all of the additional characters they added.

Spent most of the morning trying to beat a boss (bosses) that were kicking my ass. Took a break, did some other shit and came back and killed them on the first try. I don't expect this game to be on too many GOTY lists but it's definitely gonna be on mine.

I’m really having fun this time since starting over. I guess going into it without high expectations has made it more enjoyable? I dunno what it is but I know I’m having a good time and soaking up the Bethesda goodness.
Don't know where you are but some of the questlines are really well done. I think the Vanguard one was done really well. Just make sure you really learn how to do the ship to ship combat.

But what if it actually is giving you more content by actually changing things in the play through? That's why that comment was so weird to me What other motivation would there be to replay a single player campaign in a game if there wasn't additional content?

I played for four hours today only to realize that I'm just now getting to the second of the THREE large regions in the game. The thing about this game is the gameplay loop is so well done and the combat is so good that you don't mind wandering around the map getting into fights, leveling up, getting stronger gear and most importantly learning new styles. The combat in this game is so deep I would LOVE for team NInja to do a similar game that focused mostly on unarmed combat. This game has an unarmed comabt style in it but I don't now how deep it goes.

I really can't put this game down. This is like my dream game from when I was younger watching Ninja Scrolls and Five Element Ninjas...I haven't touched Dragon's Dogma 2 in like a week because all I've been playing is this. Aside the setting and aesthetics, the combat in this game is sooo deep. So many styles per weapon. And this game isn't bad for a first attempt at an open world RPG. :Looking forward to seeing what Team Ninja does next in this space.

I think this is pretty fair.

That trial was basically a nexus of everything the American Justice system is poor at handling: celebrity, race, social status, corrupt cops, domestic abuse, scientific reasoning, you name it.
My experience serving on a jury last year confirms this. All of this.

Don't know how I feel about this. It looks like it will be visually amazing but that's about the only thing I find even remotely interesting about it.

It was more a point at what they were saying about the main character possibly getting force powers at some point. Scoundrel/smuggler turned Jedi is pretty much exactly what Kyle Katarn was in the Dark Forces - Jedi Knight series (although in kyle's case it was ex-empire turned smuggler turned spy turned jedi).
So if it did happen I would probably just call her Kylie Katarn.
Also... a weird side note. Did anyone else feel like the main character's animations and lip syncing were... "off?" in this video? I mean everyone else looked alright, but she didn't. Like the animations didn't match up. She definitely didn't look mo-capped.
I REALLY hope they don't do this... in fact I wouldn't be upset if there weren't ANY force users in this game although I suspect that would be wishful thinking. Star Wars is so much bigger than Jedi and Sith... or at least it could be.

I didn't even know IGN DID this video. I literally just google searched "Star Wars Outlaws Watchdogs" and this came up
I've played and enjoyed all three Watchdogs games and when I saw the gameplay reveal for Outlaws last year, the Watchdogs similarities in the gameplay loop jumped right out to me with how the little Creature buddy, Nix is used and how you can apparently approach missions stealthy or aggresively. When one of the videos mentioned hacking as well, I was pretty much convinced they are using some gameplay elements from the Watchdogs series for this which makes sense. Ubisioft always borrown gameplay from one series to the next but makes it different enough to suit each series. Isn't the Avatar game basically Farcry to some extent? Anyway that's what I saw and I could be wrong but I don't think so. I also expect the game will have enough of its own tricks to distinguish itself... again
