If I saw this earlier this morning, I probably would have bought it. I went with the "starter bundle" from Amazon for $229.
I think the starter bundle from this reseller comes out to 205 shipped.
maybe you can cancel if it hasnt shipped?

Listed here for 210:
Use code: primo119 to get it down to $185 shipped.
Great deal, especially for anyone with a 4K TV that supports Dolby Vision. Most standalone UHD-BD players are around this price.

Madison is defintely Northern Jersey. Im not familiar with any pizza joints in Jersey... but maybe @Spork3245 can help?

I'll be in New Jersey in a couple weeks... is that close enough?
Northern Jersey... yes, absolutely.
Southern Jersey.... not so much. Not sure where that line of demarcation is but its there!

When can I come visit to try out true NY pizza and Bagels?
anytime! but i live out on LI... chances are you will probably pass 100 good Pizza joints and 200 good Bagel joints on the way to me!

Absolutely - Jurassic Park still looks great, esp the CGI.
MI:1 just looks old and the sound is very 1 dimensional. Im not saying its a bad movie bc of it...it was just off-putting after not having seen it since it was in the movies.

Mission: Impossible is over 22 years old. That's pretty fuckin' old for a film (I'm 31 years old).
Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation may be the best M:I movie. All of them are entertaining in their way, though all of them lack any real character depth or substance, they are fun action-espionage films.
I look forward to a second go-around with writer-director Christopher McQuarrie.
Jurassic Park is 25 years old. It still holds up today.
For some reason MI:1 looks likes its a movie from the mid-80s.

Ill have to disagree with just about everyone in here. First, I am a NY'er. My wife has family all over the country and Canada. Some of this family were originally from NY. I have visited these people all over the country and have also traveled to many places in the country.
1.) NY Pizza outside of the metropolitan area is not the same. CT/NJ/Eastern PA and some of Upstate NY do it right but no where else in the country is it remotely close to being the same.
2.) Same thing goes for Bagels. Outside of the metropolitan area, its not the same. This purely anecdotal obviously, but I was chatting it up with guy who owns a bagel store in Florida. He was originally from NY and had a bagel store up here. He even stated he cannot replicate the NY Style bagel down here no matter what he does. Even so much as having dough shipped down. He attributes this to the water being different. Maybe thats true, I have no idea. If that is actually a thing, maybe it also has to do with the Pizza as well.
You also left off another food which is not the same anywhere else for some reason - this is the BEC - Bacon/Egg/Cheese on a Roll. .Seems like this can be replicated, but it cant for whatever reason. This is mostly a LI thing. Even NYC doesn't do it as good.
Now - with that... getting back to my first paragraph, the reason I mentioned is because ALL OF THESE PEOPLE beg us to bring/ship them Pizza and Bagels. Without fail, every time I visit them I have to pack a fucking freezer worth of shit!!!
-
Honestly, Id rather they just wait until they can do both. Stretch this cycle another 4 years. Keep giving us good games to play in the meantime...then wow the fuck outta us with a truly large leap on console performance.
-
I just got all 5 MI movies on digital 4K. I re-watched the first one after having not seen it since the movies. It was better than I remembers (i hated it when i first saw it)...but man does it look so old and outdated. Its weird bc its not really that old.

Coco is another example of a UHD-BR that really will put your OLED to use. Supposedly this film is one of the best examples of HDR use. I watched it and Im not sure its the best, but it really does an amazing job taking advantage of it.

Ready Player One is awesome in UHD. Not sure if it’s intentional but it’s oretty average when they’re in the real world then eye popping gorgeous when they’re in the Oasis.
Cant wait to see this. I missed it in the movies and had recently finished reading the book. Im waiting to watch it on UHD-BR to get the best audio/video experience from it. Its painful to hold out as Ive seen UHD codes floating around already for 8-10 bux.

This dude is a mad-genius. Hes also fearless. I was fucking crying at 6 minutes in of the first episode. Just a brilliant lunatic. I love it.

My house is my savings plan. I plan to have it paid off by the time i retire at 110 and then move into a section 8 house and milk the system for remainder of my days.

Gino's Pizza - Patchogue NY - Classic NY Pizza. If you've never had real NY Pizza...then you've never had real pizza...and Chicago doesn't count either! (pretentious NY'er Alert!! )

$1750 from beach camera (authorized reseller) via eBay. If you’re not in NJ, no tax. so depending on where you live, this might only be 40-75 bux more for brand new.

Looks like it states could’ve been refurbed by LG or another 3rd party refurbish supplier.
Also, only 90 day warranty. Yikes.
Can you purchase an extended warranty, like square on a refurbished product? That would be the only way I would spring for this.

The 60’s and 70’s style doom/stoner is getting really overcrowded to the point it takes too much effort to sort the good from bad.
agreed. i really love the genre but man is there a fuck ton of bands and they all sound so similar... kind of like what happened to black metal in the mid-late 90s to basically now.
BTW - I love pig destroyer. Saw them a month or two ago with some classic NYDM bands. awesome show.

that was great. the ridiculousness of him jumping out the window and just brushing it off, then going into the over-the-shoulder view for the firefight was amazing. spot on!
