    Yup. it just makes sense for the good of the industry and collective game community.

    If there was ever a feature that could be implemented that was entirely for the benefit of the community over bottom-line profits.... this is that feature.

    Cross-play has been a pretty well talked about topic for years now. I at least was always under the assumption it wasn't possible due to the different hardware configs in each system. Maybe at one point that was true, I dunno...but there seems to be no reason this isn't happening right now as indicated by the several developers who are ready to go with it.

     

    This is a huge deal. Its industry-changing, in fact. Imagine being able to play Battlefield V or  Anthem or Overwatch, Fortenight, PUBG with buddies on PS4 or Xbox or PC? 

     

    People should be at outraged at this. This should be on the level of lootbox mass-hysteria that this is being held up by one party. The fact that of all places, reddit, where the hivemind is virtually silent on this topics speaks volumes to the level of fanboyism that is rampant in this industry.

    HDR sometimes lacks the subtlety that makes things seem natural and realistic over streams too. 

     

    I’ve compared a few 4K HDR iTunes movies over Apple TV 4K vs the UHD and found the discs to be superior, visually. 

     

    This topics has been beat to death on HT forums. The consensus is there is definitrly a noticeable  difference, but more in the sound department than video.

    @atom631 - can you deny the Bleeding Out phase?

    No, i don’t Think so. You don’t have to call out for someone and it appears you’ll bleed out quicker if you don’t, but you can’t leave the phase. Its basically the same thing as the respawn timer from the other games, except instead of just lying there waiting to either be revived or respawn, you can look around and call out for help. I like it.

    I got an invite for PC. Installed and fired it up. Runs like complete ass on my PC, which makes me sad (980ti, 4770k, 16G DDR3, SSD). I saw other people in the chat complain about performance as well. I’m sure they will optimize it soon. 

     

    I played a round of conquest. It was the map in Norway which was getting a lot of press. 

     

    Its tough to gauge due to performance, but it was definitely fun. The new bleedout mechanic is funny and cool. Guns feel good. TTK is super fast now, almost COD fast. 

     

    Anyway, anyone else get an invite and want to play a few rounds LMK. Same username origin.

    I will say, outside of the headphones themselves, after a couple of tries I never got the phone app to work.  The one where you can control the settings.  However, I didn't even know about it before I bought them so I guess no harm, no foul.  NOW I WANT IT TO WORK, THOUGH!

     

    you dont find them extremely quiet? I couldnt take how I had to max the volume on them just for them to be even remotely loud.

    maybe it depends on how you played. I went for a stealth approach and when she would just stand up and run right into an infected, then turn and run to duck at  wall right next to it... it completely broke the immersion and intensity of the situation.
