I’m pretty sure my first sex ed class (public school) was in the 5th grade. It was more of a “this is how body part x works” than anything about intercourse. Some of the hardcore Christian kids got excused from it, of course. Stuff like that is absurdly necessary. So many kids (especially ones from religious backgrounds) don’t learn a damn thing at home, and this info can save lives.
