I'm fairly certain that the wall-running was scrapped because there was no way to make it work effectively in combat with the game's building geometry.

The games where wall-running has been effectively implemented (the Titanfall series, Ghostrunner, etc.) have relatively simple building geometry that involves lots of long flat, unbroken surfaces.  There isn't a lot of variation in the geometry of the building surfaces in those games which therefore makes it much more feasible to implement wall-running as a core part of the gameplay loop.

It certainly didn’t work well in Spider-Man when running side to side. Up long stretches worked great though.

So... there’s a few 20+ minute gameplay demos on YouTube from the newest build (of real people playing it and not basically a hype-trailer). The combat doesn’t look... umm... too great. I hope I’m wrong and that it plays better than it looks “being played”. :/

Everyone ive seen talk about playing says its great. Also, apparently your character gets better at gunplay and stuff as you level.

Ellie and Dina aren't oversexualized, and I'm fine with how they look because they look realistic and not unrealistically exaggerated like Abby does IMO.

Like I previously stated, young Abby in her flashback scenes looks good IMO because she looks realistic, but her current muscular appearance looks overdone like she has a male bodybuilder's physique. They could have made her muscular looking without making her look like He-Man.

Exaggerated? What are you talking about? She looks like any one of thousands of fitness models. She doesn’t come close to female bodybuilder.

On top of all this, as per the other thread, there has been multiple allegations against members of the Smash community. One got their dick sucked by a 15 year old boy when he was 20, and a 24 year old woman did the same to a 14 year old boy. Then there was a least one girl who wasn't old enough to drink, who then got drunk and then a guy raped her.

And then on top of all of that the first person to hit 3k in WoW Arena and prominent Hearthstone streamer, Byron 'Reckful' Bernstein, committed suicide. He also paved a lot of the path to make streaming popular. He was a streaming OG. He suffered from bipolar disorder.

Get the trash out. Well, except for Reckful, RIP to him

You’re more than welcome to tell us your issues with Hamilton are without being so vague. I personally find it to be an impressive work of art despite overtime finding aspects of it to be troubling. I’m happy to debate you.

I also find it trendy to dismiss a whole work because of one one or two elements. Does Hamilton whitewash history? Sure. But does that make it a poorly constructed and performed musical? Absolutely not. I wish more critics and fans could learn to have nuanced views on art/entertainment instead of being so binary.

But it whitewashes history. That is the major problem.

I tend to be picky when it comes to what theaters I frequent because too many chains don’t care about video or sound quality. I can’t even imagine how shitty a Wal-Mart drive-in will be.

Thats fine if you have choice. When I grew up the “theater” was a 32 inch with a dial in a dark room at the band hall. We’d have been fine with a walmart drive-in.

Actually came across that article last night. Guess he really is an asshole. Maybe that's why he really hasn't directed a full movie since Avengers Age of Ultron; people are just sick of him.

No. Whedon has never done a ton of directing, he has always spent just as much time with other artistic endeavours. I think he just likes to do what he wants. He did a lot of comics and other things over the last years. And there’s rumor of him working on something for tv. Even on Buffy and Angel, he didn’t do a ton of directing. I just don’t think its his favourite thing.

his Avenger movies made a fortune, he wasn’t hard up for work. I think he’s just so rich he doesn’t care. He’s more interested in his own satisfaction.

and in regards ti the op, the Snyder cut might be real, but it won’t be good.

160 drive-ins. We know what happens if this does well. Walmart won’t care about concessions either, because you just bought a bunch of junk food inside the store.

Perhaps they’ll fund a pmc next. Or their own police force. Their own seat on the UN Security Council?

But, I guess its the American way to not leave anything for anyone else.

How do you feel about that Football team in Washington DC?

I mean, I don’t like it, it’s casual racism, but its not what I would focus on in the grand scheme of things. Im more interested in funding education, clean water, safe housing, and fighting addiction on reserves than I am the name of an nfl team. It should be changed though
