I never focused on my island rating. I didn’t know I had to talk to Tom Nook to get the K.K. mission started. And my “only” comment was pure sarcasm.

Catch anything and everything you can and bring them to Tom Nook until the museum opens, then continue stockpiling new creatures to give to Blathers so when the tent opens, you can get the museum built right away. The museum is AMAZING. Also, hunt tarantulas on a Nook Miles island tonight and sell as many as you can ($8000 each), then buy a crap ton of turnips tomorrow before noon to sell during the week for a substantial profit. If you search tarantula hunting on Google that will show you the way. Basically, any flat island and you’re golden. But you can still get them with various multi-tiered islands. Once you upgrade your house you’ll get Nook Miles. Focus on completing as many of the Nook Miles + items as you can each day. You’ll use Nook Miles for purchases more than bells.

The terraforming tool really opens the game up. Only took me 120 hours of gameplay to get to it!

Apparently, the closer to 110 your turnips purchase is, the more they can sell for through the week.

I bought 8000 today. I’ll most likely be using Turnip Exchange to sell them. I used the site last week, and it went off without a hitch. Waited like 20-30 minutes to get into the island.

I’m absolutely hooked on The Stranger. There’s stupid choices going, but there’s also something deeper going on, a la Servant.

I obviously have reading comprehension issues... that or I’ll use any excuse to vent about my above spoiler. Up for me. They couldn’t have executed that sequence any better.
