  1. Create the Office of the Inspector General of the United States who can only be hired and fired by the Speaker of the House, President, and Chief Justice and serves a 10 year term.
  2. Here's the only thing of actual value Congress can ask Barr going forward: If a US Attorney's Office finds evidence of a crime and would normally indict, is there a mechanism for Congress to be notified?
  3. So how's this work? What happens if the entire Cabinet resigns?
  4. This extension and terms unloads the No Deal gun, if May loses again, the EU just gave Parliament an out to avoid No Deal by getting an long extension.
  5. They'll vote next week, if yes, May 22 for logistics. If no they have until April 12. If nothing on the 12th the UK has to decide whether or not to stand for EU Parliament Elections, if yes, then the UK will be granted a "long extension", if no, No Deal.
  6. He'd stay on the ballot and if that ticket wins the VP becomes "Vice President Elect" and then President once sworn in automatically. The new "Vice President Elect" could in theory ask the Electoral College to name her as President and her choice as VP but that's Constitutionally iffy. Cleaner way would be to formally nominate a VP once in office and have the VP nominee to go through House and Senate confirmation. Before election day I imagine the candidate would name an unofficial running mate, that person might have to be voted on by the delegates depending on Party bylaws, but State ballot laws and the Constitution trump Party rules so the candidate could ignore the party completely.
  7. Which is why I rather be given perks if I need something (this was a suspected broken ankle). I did fine on them during my kidney stone.
