  2. You just restated his answer, which was a bad answer. No country's output is 50% or higher. The highest emitters are around 15 - 16 percent. We are one of the worst. If we alone worked on it -- and we're one of the worst to meet the Paris accord as well -- we'd make considerable progress in reducing worldwide emissions. We need to stop it, and we need to work on adapting to inevitable short-term changes while we do. It's idiotic to take your worldview, which is to do nothing for ages and then go, "Now we can't stop it because we didn't act on time because we listened to me so listen to me again." Fuck that.
  3. I never saw Death Proof because I was bored with Planet Terror in Grindhouse, so I just stayed for the funny trailers and left.
  4. lol are Trumpers and bots pushing #KamalaHarrisDestroyed on Twitter?
  5. Probably a combo of that and marijuana legalization being new territory for Democratic candidates. Many laughed it off for years, "evolved," and haven't really been asked any questions about previous disinterestedness. It's a pity because many of these people could have had marijuana possession on their records, which could have hurt college prospects or their college career, stopped them from finishing school, stopped them from becoming Senators, and it wouldn't have been funny.
  6. The first night of the Michigan debates was pretty good, I thought. The second night had every Senator who supported Biden for years go after him all of a sudden.
  7. I didn't turn on my PS4 during my vacation. But I was on vacation. Gets turned on everyday. I'm happy to say I have turned on my Xbox (your gift) a few times to get a feel for it and try out the apps! Once I get done with my backlog, I can finally dive into stuff like Rare Replay and Sunset Overdrive.
  8. I'm very happy Inslee's been putting a spotlight on climate change. Hope he makes the next debate.
  9. If it's a 3-way, Warren and Sanders would have problems. But I think among Buttigieg, Harris, Booker, Gillibrand... basically, people who could potentially do well enough to stay in the debates and are savvy enough to go after Biden, one or two of them could fight it out with Biden. It really depends on who drops out through December, and then how Iowa ends up shaking out.
  10. They need the other to poll worse but they probably realize that they need to frame the debate and fight for their ideas within the primary so they're more acceptable to the establishment. For now, they probably are more comfortable just tag teaming as they did and taking on the entire centrist lane and then fighting each other later.
  11. I saw it, too. Jason posted it a few posts ago ITT.
  12. Also, I actually agree that Delaney had a "good" night. I'd say Sanders and Warren ran circles around him, BUT when Biden is running as the "center-left" guy, and he's got the most name recognition, and you're running on that kind of platform as well as a billion other Democrats in the running (Bullock, Hickenlooper, Ryan, Biden, Bennet, I assume Sestak), it's probably better to stick out and make a name for yourself (he received more time than Beto) than to be in the background. At this point, he has nothing to lose; worst case scenario is he polls as badly as he has been and doesn't see an uptick in voters. Look at Seth Moulton. He wasn't at the debate and the top "news" story for him is a fucking Onion article, "Mysterious Salem Shopkeeper Offers Seth Moulton Chance At Presidential Debate Stage But At A Terrible Cost"
  13. Yup, the difference is PS2 was $99 and sold 40+ million more during the PS3/360/Wii gen. It was so much cheaper than the other consoles and still ended up selling like hotcakes into that generation, never mind getting releases like God of War 2 and Persona 4 in the two years after the PS3 launched (and three years after the 360). PS4 would have to continue to outpace it into the PS5/Nextbox generation, which likely wouldn't happen.
  14. Side note: her name is funny considering Gravel did nothing when on stage in 2008.
  15. It's a separate graphic made from Reset. They took the 3.2 shipped and combined it with the previous information of 96.8 million. ZhugeEx also compiled the data. It's now the fastest console to 100 million. O_O

  17. It's crazy to think you can return to the board under a different name, act the same, have the same views and think you're fooling people into thinking you're a different person. Everyman/NotEnoughPayne tried that, too, yet he was very tuned into who everyone was and what IGN was despite supposedly finding the board via Google. On a separate note, I'd actually like to see a screenshot of your conversation with her.
  18. It's just so weird. PS2 was at, like, 112 million by the time the 360/PS3 came out and eventually sold another 40+ freaking million into that next gen. How do you live through that and not understand that tons of people buy consoles late into their lifespan and also when next gen releases?! Some people don't care and prefer waiting and getting everything for cheap. On my vacation, I stayed with my friends' cousins, and the husband's latest console was a PS3, which he played plenty. He'll probably get the Quatro in 2020 or 2021. He likes to buy games, and he likes to buy them super cheap and doesn't mind waiting since he'll have plenty to play.
  19. Normal people who are late adopters. Is this your first generation or something?
