  1. I'm on a trip with a friend, and we bought tickets to go to a game tonight. @AbsolutSurgen End of the day, you inspired me!
  2. So fyi, I'm taking a walk and was waiting for my friend in the restroom when I posted the news. So it's a super fail on my part but I was rushing, man.
  3. , Ginsburg made reference to the late Sen. Jim Bunning, R-Kentucky, who suggested in 2009 that she would soon die from the pancreatic cancer she had been diagnosed with. "There was a senator -- I think it was after the pancreatic cancer -- who announced with great glee that I was going to be dead within six months. That senator -- whose name I've forgotten -- is now himself dead. And I am very much alive," Ginsburg said

  5. Greatones's great, and his ability to do that and allowing us to have fun with it and @Keyser_Soze talking about how he'll talk about how he's excited for a movie because the cinematographer worked on X, Y and Z, is why.
  6. I think mine may have been over 300? It was a gift from a while back. I have a best bit card, so with financing, I could probably afford a more expensive one. It's probably still be pretty standard, so maybe 500ish? I'd still need to get a zoom lens.
  7. Yeah, what's funny is I've had it for eight years, and usually never leaves my side on a trip like this. And then I thought well I'm not going to be away from the car that long so I won't need it!
  8. I'm visiting Seattle, and I've loved the places and people so far, but I dislike the guy who did this. Looks like he stole my camera to feed a meth/heroin addiction according to the officer. A stain on the trip, but honestly, it's been a great trip. However, I will have to be in the market for a new camera. Mine was a T3 Canon Rebel. I got it in 2011, so it probably needed to be upgraded, I guess, since the lenses were basic. The SD cards and zoom lens were also in the bag, FFFUUU-. But, it happened. The officer said, look, sometimes we get the electronics back, sometimes we don't, so I'm just anticipating not getting it back. What are some good options and what would the pricing be?
  9. Exactly what the officer said. Almost 100% he went to pawn it for meth or heroin or something. We're going to the space needle tonight and I was looking forward to taking pictures from the top with it. Boooooo! I actually have liked just about everyone! I was in the San Francisco airport on a layover though! I saw recyclables and compostibles and wtf'd because I'm not used to seeing that. In fact I've never seen that out east.
  10. Interestingly, the GOP in 04 did that. Maybe the Canadian conservatives are trying to catch up and need a while!
  11. Also, someone broke the window of my rental car and took my camera. That's a first.
  12. Montana, Idaho, and Washington State are beautiful. Seattle is such a beauty. I love how the states goes from lush greenery and mountains to more desert climate and actual amber waves of grain.
  13. Yeah, very beginning of that first video when he tosses that thing on the ground.
  14. I really hope, for however threatened or not threatened someone feels about Obama's "otherness," that nobody here subscribes to the acting white notion.
  15. He says on the video he's 5'. And seeing as my dad is 5'2", that guy is not 5'2".
  16. I actually feel like Lesnar is closer to 80s wrestling in terms of, "Big guy with belt for a longass time and doesn't defend it much." I wasn't a fan of the 80s despite its popularity.
  17. How tf you expect me to work this morning when I'm now laughing?
  18. How can you miss me when my flight leaves tomorrow?!
  19. Yeah, Foley kicked off 99 with a title switch. That was the infamous "butts in the seats" moment. While it happened in 98, audiences were supposed to see it in 99, so... eh, it's more a 99 thing since that was the Rock/Foley feud. The mid and late 90s were an interesting time because first, the old guard -- Macho Man, Warrior, Hulk Hogan -- left, so they had to make new stars in Bret and Shawn and Diesel. Then they left or had a back injury, so they had to make new stars again in Stone Cold, Foley, Rock, Taker, HHH, and Show. Then their mid card improved tremendously, so instead of permanent midcarders like Val Venis and Godfather and D-Lo, you had guys who could go up the chain like Eddie Guerrero, Benoit, Jericho and Angle. I feel it mostly stayed on the same people: 2000 was HHH-Rock for the first 9 months. But it was sooooo fun, and we got to see great feuds with Cactus Jack. I feel like we haven't really seen that as much? They haven't had a time where everyone left at once, far as I remember. That's actually why the early 2000s post-Invasion was so frustrating. Austin stormed out and Rock was no longer full-time, but you had fucking HHH the whole time.
  20. Probably can't happen, though it'd be cool. My friend and I are staying in Montana for about a day and a half and are going to explore all the surrounding areas, so we're likely not crossing the border from there. We may go to Canada while in Seattle. HOW?!
