I'm only halfway through book three but haven't found him to be a terrible character yet. By what book did he become such for you?
I never had a problem with Perrin other than feeling his pacifist attitude felt a little forced. Mat I couldn't stand for several books however

Yeah. I can understand wondering why something shares a name when it deviates so far from the source material that it’s unrecognizable (i.e. that Halo show) but that’s certainly not the case here.Agreed and I'm finding a lot of the changes interesting at least. This season has fixed my major issue with season 1 (pacing) and I'm excited to see where it is going.

I’ve seen season one, it’s no loss. These are so far from the books, it just isn’t worth it.
I've read the books and I personally don't need a one for one retelling of them.

S1 was so bad, I will not continue to taint my most beloved book series growing up with whatever Judkins has done to it. I prefer just to not have the property tainted like that.
Your loss!
Just finished Episode 4 it was soo good

I hadn't seen that final roster page, thank you so much! OMFG IT IS GLORIOUS!
I rarely buy fighting games on launch because the base roster is usually disappointing even if it's one of my favorite series (AKI might get me into SFVI) but this roster is loaded.

Sorry I spoiled myself on the endings. I had NO idea there were multiple endings that you had to beat the game again to see.
Problem is the second playthrough is a slog then it gets good again on the third.

In my opinion this is the best year in gaming ever without even counting what is coming out in Novemeber/December!

We need a new Rygar game!
I loved both iterations of the game and would love a new one.
I would love an HD Remake of 2.

The Wheel of Time Confirmed for Third Season
WWW.CBR.COMPrime Video's epic fantasy series The Wheel of Time, which is currently filming its second season, has received an early renewal for a third.
Amazon seems pretty confident in this series.
First three episodes of Season 2 are fucking fantastic! It doesn't feel rushed like the first season did and the changes they are making from the books are super interesting. I'm really hoping the strike doesn't fuck this series up.

Man, the last 10 minutes of the season (series?) finale just blew the roof off of the whole season. I'm not sure how I feel about it but it makes me hope we get more Justified now more than ever.
As an ending to the City Primeval stuff, the finale was good but a lot of it just sort of happens. The stupidity of that one Albanian guy to give Skender a gun as he's hobbling to go kill Clement Mansell when Clement will clearly get the better of him was lazy writing, even if the episode addresses it by having the old Albanian leader yell at Toma. Outside of that, things played out about as expected and I think the fact this is based on an Elmore Leonard novel that doesn't have Raylan Givens in it shows here. This felt like a world Raylan was in for just a short while (the point), but as a result it's hard to get attached to anyone in just 8 episodes given the somewhat episodic nature of Justified. Boyd Holbrook was excellent as one-season villain Clement Mansell, which helped a lot. The acting and dialogue and everything was good, it was just missing that magic Justified factor.
Either way, it was a solid but not great revival season, but not bad by any means either. I'm happy it was made overall, and if we can get more now but bring it back to Harlan or Miami with more familiar characters would be great.
Glad they are setting that up and giving us the proper sequel.

It's similar enough to Roman Catholicism to be very recognizable as being part of the same ecclesiastical tradition, but different enough to stand apart from it.
While I was working at a Catholic printing company I got the opportunity to see Knights Templar and all the other crazy stuff at an event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the company (and a free bar with top shelf liquor afterwards of course!)

Attend an Orthodox Divine Liturgy sometime if you want to participate in something that really hasn't changed in hundreds of years!
The Orthodox once had a rather violent schism over whether the Sign of the Cross should be made with two fingers or three fingers.
I have a Serbian friend who is Orthodox I'm super interested in learning about their traditions from what little I've heard/seen from him.

Yes and when I die I expect to find him laughing.

I got tested for covid and I don't have that. They prescribed me something I cannot even pronounce or spell but they wanted me off work all week. I litteraly cannot afford that because I'm completely out of leave with pay so I'm going to cowboy the fuck up and head to work tomorrow.
Thanks for the positive mature posts @Ominous and @BasemntDweller2.
