I'm trying to think through and I don't think I've had any first dates that went so poorly that they became memorable for being a shitshow. I've had a few instances of thinking the first date went well and then never hearing from the girl again when trying to set up a second date, but on the date itself it's usually just the routine stuff of being fatter than her profile pictures, not being able to carry her end of a conversation, etc. I did have sex on a first date where we'd spent a significant amount of time walking around before getting down to business...that smell was pretty bad. Like, the second her panties came off. But I hadn't gotten any in a while, so... My more ridiculous stories are about endings (is it really a breakup if you were only seeing each other for a few weeks or less?). If I were in that situation, I'd definitely stop initiating contact, and probably wouldn't respond if she tried to initiate contact again.
