Sorry...I didn’t realize this was High School and a popularity contest. I came in here and posted a positive story about Policing to help balance the narrative. You want better Policing...I want better policing. I don’t want this place to become filled with group think. I really dislike group think because it influences people negatively. You want a thread just dedicated to all the miserable shit bad police do so we just keep stacking on that impression and reinforcing it....have it. Positive change is what I’m interested in.

Oh, the dog and the situation we were in was real enough. I posted the video way back when of it back in 2011 in the original thread...but yeah...I didn’t kill it. See....here’s a perfect example. I never claimed that. I was an Metroplitan Police Dept Officer (MPD). Never have I worked for NYPD. I never made any claim to that effect. I will gladly verify that. This here is the problem.....people are mis remembering things about my posts....so in threads where I played the middle ground....people just remember it as me being pro to their con and critical thinking has gone out the window

Yeah...the thing is...my stance has always been the same... 1. no rush to judgement and wait until all the facts come out first and then we can dig into the problem. 2. Offer my thoughts after having been through the training and experience based on current laws 3. Offer solutions based on my experience. Every conversation here has framed me as a Police Sympathizer Extremist...in order to win the debate. That’s why off the top of your head you nor Jason can think of a couple of good examples of me specifically defending a bad cops actions from beginning to end.

I recall when the shooting at the BART shooting occurred you all jumped me...three days later the video released caught a witness picking up the gun that that the perp dropped. Not one person said shit. Instead you kept just saying I was biased.

Whoa there pretty lady :-) I have relatives in Minnesota who like to play this game. It’s called “post to B’s facebook timeline anytime a black person commits a heinous crime so we can justify our position that black people are dangerous and welfare usurpers”. I play this game where I react to their negative with positive stories like a young black person doing something awesome. I have always been pretty even handed in my approach to issues in policing on these boards in the same way. We always have a lot of threads tearing down police, but very few actually acknowledging them for going beyond the scope of their duties....and that’s something that a lot of Trumpers do when they want to make their point. They highlight the negative of Obama’s presidency while never acknowledging the good. So this is the “Offcial thread of hero cop valor”. Is it really that bad posting both the good and the bad or are we just straight anti police now. Also..their image won’t be rehabbed until they get more educated liberals to join their ranks to even out group think.

I am amzaed and horrified by how far behind I am at painting. This house building thing is a time suck....I'm just too slow witht he painting and really bad jittery hands. I have been watching a lot of gameplay tutorials....once the rest of the house is finished the basement will be fully my man cave and I'll set up completely. I enjoyed the revival of the show although it definitley gave off the early 90's vibes in egards to production. Modern Family, Blackish and Fresh Off the Boat are good, but they tend to take the comedy a bit too far into places of unreal-ism..almost more spoof than parody. I don't know how this will fare...it would be better if J.Gallecki came onto the show more full time...to provide a better framework. I think this is TBBT's 12th season? Yeah John Goodman plays off Roseanne Barr...but he's a good enough actor to not need her and the ensemble cast has more than enough build up to carry the show. When Ritter died on 8 Simple Rules...they only had one season under their belts....then they had to bring in characters to fill in the gaps....same thing with 2 and a half men..they had to bring in Kutcher to replace Sheen to build out the cast.
