@Jwheel86 Translating that from corporate propaganda to english. I think their main concern is that the FDA has regulatory control over drug access. The judge is setting a president that disrupts the agreed upon status quo. Like all the stuff they are worried about is stuff you can do without money but they are telling you won't happen without money.

@MarSolo I don't think I ever hated myself enough to want to go there. I applaud ort for taking one for the team. I know enough of what to expect out of Fox News. 

Also it feels like an alternate universe because it is. Fox News wants you to think America sucks because of minorities gaining more rights as opposed to favoring the few over everyone else. Fascism job is to take the heat off of capital and vent anti-capitalist sentiment to minorities. An other.

Hey a private corporation is allowed to use public water at low/no cost to make cash money. There is no way to use these resources for non-cash money reasons.

I find it kinda funny that the Biden admin came up with "three" potential plans, where plan 1 is "do nothing", plan 2 is "keep CA happy" and plan 3 is the obvious "reduce usage equally according to usage."

 

Quite often I'm happy when CA throws its weight around. I think it's good that we can show the nation that higher taxes doesn't mean your economy nose dives. I think it's good that we can force more stringent emissions standards and push EVs. CA can often lead the way on a more progressive agenda, but on this water thing it seems like the bargaining position is difficult to defend. It's very much a "we got ours, go get your own" policy.

It doesn't seem like it's a difficult decision to defend but the US is founded upon fuck you got mine. It's an unnatural sentiment that you see it as indefensible. However the norm is fuck you got mine. 

I'm not sure if I'm making myself clear enough. We are experiencing societal decay and the sympthoms of that decay are self reinforcing. We lack the political will to solve our problems because everyone is in it for themselve essentially.

That could be cope though. I recall them saying the 100+ C JT was within parameters before walking it back.

I initially went for an AIO because I like that extra bit of cooling vs air and maybe I'm not stressing my CPU enough but I don't recall it hitting 95C.

Ultimately I just don't want my hardware to thermal throttle.

To back up your sentiment we don't really have multigenerational homes. Ny grandma had Alzhimer's and we couldn't take care of her I had to work and mom is a workaholic. We sent her to my aunt's house in Colombia and that worked out better I feel. It sucked I couldn't see her but I felt more comfortable about her being with family as opposed to in a nursing home or adult day care or whatever. 

I listened on chapo a few weeks ago about an article that Medicaid can take your home from you when you die as a way of reimbursement for coverage. We are a cruel society.

I guess I have to learn that if I want to do this. I'm an intellectual so like writing books I guess is my ideal job but making even if it's just parasocial relationships sounds nice and ya kno I'd rather earn income from like donations from my work then a salary or book sales. 

My job isn't terrible it's technically great but it's a job in capitalism so it's alienating. I'd want to be like a teacher or a therapist but you need a masters for those. Which I find crazy because atleast with therapists there is a a test I'd have to pass. You could hypothetically just let people take a test on being a therapist and I dunno just let them fail it if they don't know enough. That wouldn't keep people in student debt though. 

Yes I am complaining about that making society a "meritocratic" is a great way of putting people in student debt and locking them into whatever decent or better job they want. Employer provided health care is a feature not a bug. I can't just up and quit a job I don't particularly find fulling because I need diabetic meds and SNRI meds and those cost alot for one that I'd  basically die without. It's all about getting these dead presidents though.

Not looking to be a millionaire or anything but if I can make youtube vids and it pays the bills id rather do that then my current job. Even if like I need to like take Ls on PC and set up upgrades and even if it means some months I need to rely on my mom to not starve.

I have seen this commercial about soldier suicides and it's a commercial as a PSA for gun storage safety. My brother in Christ as a person that is technically only alive because suicide was never as easy as getting a loaded gun and pulling the trigger. Papa you're gonna be better off without the gun in your house. It's just safer. I still wouldn't buy even a ww2/ww1 era rifle because I the chances of me shooting myself isn't 0. If it ever becomes that sure but at this point no. Maybe like the old caliber Martini-Henry or rifles that use paper cartridges. I need/want that delay of I have to make my own/buy ammo atleast.

One of my friends is like that. I couldn't believe he was disagreeing with me. It's this bizzare irrational fear of other people. I don't really understand it. I hit him with the gun control would reduce casualties and downgrade these events from mass shootings to suicides, assault, and/or homicide. I just don't understand the lack of empathy to not think a ban on semiautomatic high capacity pistols and rifles. It's similar to the Die Hard types but their vision is limited to having a gun for break ins. 

I live in the hood and I generally just leave my door unlocked. We had a break in and the most annoying thing was them breaking in. Rather just leave the door open.

I was playing Company of Heroes 3 since launch at 1080p. The game defauled to borderless windowed and 1080p. Had to switch to full screen to get 5120 by 1440p.

Game looks alot better.
