Jwheel86
Russians are going to be thrilled about this thing docking with the ISS now.
TwinIon
Some pretty poor quality video of the incident is floating around, though it appears the original source (a tweet) is missing. After a successful launch and recovery it certainly seemed like this was all ready to go. I imagine that this will set them back a bit. An issue with the booster stage isn't really going to mean anything in regards to the upper/docking stage. Not to mention they don't have much of a leg to stand on given they had to abort a crew launch mid-ascent last year and they got people putting holes in their crew modules. edit - Whoops, didn't see this was a crew module fire. An explosion possibly from the Launch Escape System, every other LES has been ditched after ascent. Crew Dragon's is built into the pod, essential attaching a bomb to the ISS. Boeing does ditch the LES just before reentry though, because it's housed in the service module. The service module is portion behind the capsule that has the corrugations and thrusters.
