SoberChef
Cooper is a sensational director in whose work I have never been let down nor disappointed. Between Out of the Furnace & Antlers alone I'd have to pledge that this film will be another banger in their respective filmographies. Derek
Everytime I see or hear that Christian Bale is in a movie, I just assume it's going to be a great film. Maybe not my cup of tea, but great none-the-less. Even Thor, I thought he played a very good villain, but felt a little out of place because the tone of the film didn't really sync up with him. Greatoneshere
It's Scott Cooper and Bale - I'm in. Hostiles is such a beautiful film (all his films are good).
Bloodporne
This was pretty disappointing I thought. It's pretty and has tons of good actors at its disposal but felt tedious, rather boring and lacked any emotional weight in my opinion. The whole ending sequence should've been heavy but lacked any impact. I was just kind of glad when it was over so I could go watch Don't Look Now.
