I'm sure he does, but to put my Sony professor glasses on : Last decade, Evolution and Liverpool were closed, as well as the from-the-ground-up VR studio in Manchester that took too long to develop a game and had nothing to show for it. They needed to beef up their European presence anyway, and a VR dev for PSVR2 (a VR WipeOut or anything similar would be nuts considering how Wipeout Omega Collection was on VR) that has 250 employees is a sensible business move.
