A 30fps game looks fluid in comparison to a 37fps game on a standard display.  Modes that do that are trash if you don't have a VRR display.

In this instance I'm talking exclusively about games on PC. Obviously if your game is gonna bounce between 32 and 41 FPS, lock that shit down to 30.

Bloodborne had the 1-2 punch of a lame FPS and bad frame pacing but once again people magically didn't notice it. How do you not notice the image literally stopping and skipping frames?! Yeah it's not hugely present in every single scene but it wasn't exactly hidden away either.
