Looking at the operating profits for Playstation, PS4 and now PS5 have been extraordinary. And this chart also puts even more perspective on the troubles they had during the PS3 generation.

Oh god, you don't remember the failure that is PS3? I mean, it did ok sales wise at the end, but the 360 was far better (when it worked). Ps4 was a huge turnaround, and ms made the dumb mistakes that generation.
