I’m a bit ashamed to admit it, but I’m considering buying this. I own it on Wii U, but I’ve never finished it. I could see myself finishing it as a handheld game though!
I am in a similar boat with Tales of Vesperia. I own it on 360, but I don’t have time to sit through an RPG on a console anymore. But as a handheld experience? I could grind through it on my own time, and finally finish the sucker.
Decisions, decisions.

In Rainbow curse's case, you'd have to reformat the game away from the Wii U's widescreen aspect ratio or do some weird mouse control for touch screen versus the wide top screen. It just seems like a lot of work on a console Nintendo is trying to keep alive with ports. Captain Toad is an amazing port, I'll give you that. I didn't even think it was possible for it to end up looking so good on a 3DS.
I’ll be honest I never played Rainbow Curse so I’m not sure how it would play. But I know Canvas Curse worked well on the OG DS, so I thought it wouldn’t be too difficult. Maybe I’m wrong, I dunno.

Put all NSMB games in one package a la Super Mario All Stars and sure.
Shut up.
...and take my money.

Yeah, but a Wii U to 3DS port would have been a lot more work than a Wii to 3DS port. These ports to keep the 3DS alive are really cheap ones.
I wonder about that. Is it really more expensive for Nintendo? I mean, they ported over Captain Toad to 3DS last year, and that was a Wii U game...?

I can somewhat get Nintendo's logic here. Both games are platformers with cute protagonists, and the art direction is similar as well. Releasing both games near each other may have resulted in cannibalization of sales.
You’re referring to Yoshi’s Crafted World?

It is kinda weird how different the Switch shop is compared to the 3DS and even Wii U eShops are. Why change it up? Or why change it to THIS?
An overhaul is needed, and (I assume) coming sometime. But yeah, never should have been like this to begin with. The only good thing I can say about it is, at least its quick. Navigating through all that clutter is at least pretty snappy, in my experience. Yay?

Two-player co-op better still be in this.

When porting a console Kirby game to the 3DS, it honestly would have made more sense to port over Kirby and the Rainbow Curse instead, IMO.

But I thought PUBG wasn't gonna sell on PS4?

Looking forward to the new reveals next Thursday! Hope some of the older fighters make a return. I can't be the only one hoping that Frost becomes a playable character again, right?

Wow, only 9 days away now! So close...

Hmm, it's from Capcom. Looks kinda generic, but Capcom usually makes good stuff. I'll keep an eye on it.

Is this a good thing?

Huh, had no idea the first game was on Switch!

So like...a mix of strategy plus hack-n-slash? Maybe interesting.
Also, looks like a game that should be on Vita/3DS.

It's almost Clemen-TIME.

I don't have anything substantial to add to this thread, but man. If "Heavy Metal Choir" was an elective in my high school or college, I may have actually signed up for that.

$8.99 sounds about right.

I need to log in here more often! I probably will again now that the holidays are over.

Okay I’m going to download Metroid Samus Returns. Was thinking about Warioware Gold and Mario Party The Top 100. Are those games worth pulling the trigger on?
Agreed with @chakoo on this one. WarioWare is great, but I personally passed on Mario Party. But I always skip that series, so...whatevs. *shrugs*

I feel like that is a lie because you went out of your way to play the first game this year after people were hyping up RDR2.
It’s true...I lied. Got caught in my own web of fibs! LOL
Though it was an honest fib, since I was quickly skimming the topic and didn’t recognize the game for what it was. I thought it was referencing a Resident Evil title (since that’s what the thread was about) but after looking again I see it was about Red Dead.
I just wanna fit in.

Another Switch, so my kids don’t fight over the one we already have. Came with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Also got Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee for them. My sister sent along Super Mario Party in the mail.
Not a terrible haul. Had better before, but also had worse.

After I beat OOT and Super Mario 3D Land I'm buying:
A Link Between Worlds
Metroid: Samus Returns
Fine choices! You'll likely enjoy them.
It's worth mentioning to not forget that the 3DS is 100% backwards compatible with the original DS. If you still own games from that system, you can play them on 3DS as well. Or if you've somehow missed out entirely on DS, there is a TON of stuff to catch up on!

@Biggie
Any interest in some of the 3DS’s older titles? I recommend:
Ridge Racer 3D
Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy
And maybe Shinobi. Fun little action game.
