Happy that they are adding more playlist. My buddy was disappointed that there were no new modes when the campaign dropped. Slayer and SWAT playlist are going to be on heavy rotation for us.

Wait, what, they're making an open world game for Sonic? I'm interested, but I'm also the person who buys damn near all the Sonic console games because there's something wrong with me.
Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors we're good games.

Its suoppsedly going to be treated as a GaaS for the next 10 years, hence the name Infinite.
So I think they have lots of plans for single player updates to go along with multiplayer. They want to keep people subbed to Game Pass so hopefully each Multiplayer Season brings some new single player content as well.
If they can update this game like they have treated Sea of Thieves then we are in for a good time @Emblazon

Halo Infinite soundtrack is out and it was made by one of the guys that did the Ori soundtrack

I am loving the new sandbox in Halo Infinite. Been watching a lot of WTF clips on youtube and boy this game provides more "Battlefield" moments than Battlefeild 2042

I’m running into a lot more bugs since the last patch went out. I have done wheelspin, won a car, proceed to add to garage. My screen will go black and the loading icon appears and just keeps a spinning in the bottom right corner with no progress. Also happens a bit when applying tune-ups to my cars as well. Not all the time but I had to restart the game 3 times alone last night within a 2hr span before calling it quits. They put out a hot fix today and so far so good. I was having the game freeze up on me when applying tunes but hasn't happened today.

@best3444 @stepee @The def star You guys on crack? It's literally the first thing you see when you open the Xbox App
I can assure you out of the 4 of us it is not we that are on crack

I'm sure they might have done this so that people don't data mine the game but everyone downloading at the same time is a recipe for disaster

Probably cosmetics.

If you play 6 matches a day which is a big time sink, that would still be 100 days to finish a battle pass. A little less from weekly challenges you complete, but that still feels way too long. I'm basically guaranteed to never be able to get upper-level battle pass rewards.
For the kind of challenges, I hope they also bucket them into being game-type specific and regarding things that actually help you complete the objective. E.g., "Hold the ball for 50 seconds or more"
I think the difference is that with the Halo battle passes is that they don't expire. Once you buy them you can complete them at your own pace. The games been out for about 2 weeks and am at level 28. I have been splitting my time with Forza, MLB The Show 21 and Battlefield. I should hit 100 way before the next battle pass comes out.

I don't even know if I'm going to unlock the armor for that limited time event that's out. I think it ends today and then comes back later. It's only like level 6 I think. I played 2 hours last night and it only gave me 2 challenges that even counted toward the limited event. And the one challenge was "Get 20 assists in Fiesta mode". Which is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. To me, Rocket League has the perfect battle pass set up. You unlock stuff at a consistent pace, and after level 70 they start giving you colored items of stuff you got earlier in the pass. And their limited time events are never really a challenge but they keep you busy.
Halo's set up is so ridiculous that it makes me think they launched knowing it was going to get flak, probably needed more time, but they had to launch the game.
You can only get to level 6 or 7 right now. They will release more challenges to progress that battle pass in the following weeks.

He claims "fairly clean" and "plays on hard difficulty" but you know when he's got a shot at first on a turn he's slamming that car!

@The def star What is up with this car? Just ran The Colossus and you were bumping me nearly the entire time.
TBH I'm not sure what my Drivatar is like. I usually try to drive clean in my races. Maybe depends on the Drivatar difficulty you are playing on. I don't enjoy playing on anything higher than Highly Skilled. The game bumped me up to Expert and I had to fight for the top spot which was frustrating because the Drivatar would either slam me against a wall or just take off on me in a straight away even though we would have the same car and PI.

Whatever that seasonal race is, @The def star's car is on some shit. So hard to beat!
The seasonals for winter have been pretty challenging. I had a tough time with the street scene race because the car I chose had a difficult time with the corners but I was determined to use my Focus RS for that. The Rival racing is damn fun. The more people that join the D1P club the better!

mine says 1/17/2004 for my first sign in. it says my first Xbox 360 game was Halo 2, but it wasn’t. It was COD2.
edit, or maybe it wasn’t. Looking through my achievements it looks like Kameo was my first 360 game that I didn’t play until 2 days after I got the 360. So maybe Halo 2 was the first game I played on it. Hmm
Mine says Halo 2 was my first Xbox 360 game but that was because I played it at a friends house as they got their Xbox 360 first. I got mine like 2 weeks later because of shortages and the first game I popped in there was COD2.

Dang first signed on to Xbox Live 10/31/2004. I think I had a different gamertag before then since I remember getting Xbox Live right before Halo 2 launched and playing Crimson Skies online. Might have not liked the name and created a second one. Still 2004 is a long time ago

…not to mention the year long delay the game has already had. When co-op was just delayed until January I figured they needed an extra month to iron things out. Tweak syncing and difficulty a bit. But hell another 6 months?!
it almost feels like “tell me you didn’t give shit about co-op without telling me you didn’t give a shit”.
TBH I'd rather have the devs take all the time in the world instead of releasing a buggy mess and patching it as they go. Just look at Battlefield So far the extra year has been worth it just with how the multiplayer has turned out. It's the best playing competitive Halo. I'll gladly wait for the co op campaign if it launches as smooth as the multiplayer.

No they definitely can. What im saying is even without PC cheaters.. the game has no aim-assist for controller, so youre going to get stomped by PC players no matter what.
That makes sense. I usually don't play with aim assist anyway. But it's a bummer that hacks are running rampant before it's official launch.
And yes the shipment container level sucks. I also played that snow level which is huge. Probably too big for its own good. It makes picking Sundance the wing suit specialist a must.

if youre playing on console there is no aim assist. Or if there is, is so little, that it doesnt make a difference. So if you are playing cross play on console people on PC can't use any of the cheat hacks?
-
A friend of mine that plays on PC mentioned that the cheat hacks that worked on the previous BF work on this and that a lot of PC players are using aim bot. I played a few games last night and that would explain a lot of weird deaths I had.

Is the S worth getting? Can't find an X anywhere
Yes. it is. Even if it's to hold you over until the Series X is readily available. My buddy wants a Series X but settled for a Series S. The loading times are worth it alone. Then there is the next gen upgrades like being able to play 2042 with current gen players. I have a Series S in my office and play it on a 1080p 144hz screen and it plays great.
-
With Halo and Forza I haven't had a chance to jump into 2042. Guess that's a good thing. Hopefully they can get this all figured out soon. I quite enjoyed the beta even with all the bugs.

One thing I have learned from companies wanting to sell NFT art these past several days is that you can't buy NFT's with money. They want you to connect your bank to a crypto exchange, then they want you to convert real money into their own crypto currency they are selling, then you have to transfer that crypto currency to a crypto wallet, then you can buy an NFT. This all sounds like they want you to invest in their form of crypto by convincing you that you are buying something of value with it. It all just sounds real shady to me and eventually all this crypto/nft bubble will pop. People just want to get in on the ground floor incase it takes off like bit coin. Humans are the worst.

He means that in Multiplayer the grapple hook is a pick up item not like in the single player where you have it all the time.
