Exciting

This whole idea that Republicans will weaponize assault allegations reminds me of that gif about climate change with the guy saying “What if it’s a big hoax and we create a better world for nothing?” Sure, ok, the republicans will try to weaponize this sort of accusation. In most cases they will fail laughably, just as their attempts to gin up an accusation against Mueller are failing. Occasionally their efforts will focus on someone like Al Franken, where the accusation perhaps could have some legitimacy. And in that case, perhaps their efforts will pay off. And in doing so, they’ll slowly be creating a world where sexual harassment is treated more seriously.
