Just finished it and absolutely loved it. The way Jacks arc finishes is so utterly spectacular. I want more of that character haha

Theres going to be an Echo show? I can’t think of a single thing I could be less interested in out of every single Marvel character in existence.

Yeah I was gonna say. Compared to the marketing of the first two sequels, this was almost non existent. I don’t remember a single TV ad and certainly no food/beverage tie ins that I can think of.

no no no no no no no. Not every game needs to be open and have side quests. Enough of that bullshit. They already try to shoehorn that into most games. Leave the beautifully constructed linear games alone. NO MORE FUCKING SIDE QUESTS

It just so happens Keanu wouldn't want to do it without the Wachowskis, the studio probably figured the movie wouldn't do as well without Keanu and it just so happened Lana had a story to tell eventually, so she came up with a movie that she wanted to make. Id imagine a Matrix movie with Keanu would have been as good an idea as a MiB movie without Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. 

And I’d also be hard pressed to put Reloaded in any kind of failure category. It wasn’t as revolutionary as the first one but it’s still a really solid and fun movie with some of the best action/scenes in the entire series. Not to mention it’s the highest grossing movie in the trilogy by a massive amount. Revolutions(which i personally don’t hate) was def a bit of a failure though. 

I mean the song is really the only major fault of the second season. And maybe they curse a little too much? Geralts “Fucks” were so good in S1 because they came outta nowhere. But that’s a super super minor thing cause it really wasn’t that bad.

QD just makes really pretty visual novels with a heaping side of sexual harassment. I mean, Chunsoft has been making visual novels since the 80s, complete with that cool timeline thing. The biggest difference here is that they aren't pretending AI The Somnium Files is high art. Side note, AI The Somnium Files is actually fairly brilliant and on Game Pass. Also, their Zero Escape series has some of the craziest fourth wall breaking craziness ever put on screen. It's a serious shame it takes the pretty graphics QD pushed out to make people pay attention to the genre. That's seriously the only reason QD's claims get taken seriously by the IRS and gamers alike. It's all in the pretty coat of paint. If their games were exactly the same, but looked like anime instead of the going for realism, nobody would being paying them nearly as much attention.

Yeah one section is legit scary. The rest is more like a monster movie. 

Yeah I loved RE4 but it didn’t age well. The beginning few hours are legit fantastic but then it slowly descends into RE research lab genericness. RE8 stay a lot truer to theme and as a result a lot more fun throughout. Also there is legit not one thing scary in RE4. Village at least has that one whole sequence. And whoever thought of that sequence needs help 😂

Just finished it. Great ending that sets things up beautifully going forward. Only negative I have to say is that any scene without either Yen, Geralt or Ciri was def a drop. And Jasper I thought was too modern if that makes sense? Like I get they use modern profanity which is fine but I felt like most of Jaspers jokes didn’t have any kind of medieval twinge to them. That’s probably just a me thing though haha. 
 

So Blood Origins is about the time right after the conjunction?

Just thought I’d bump since this is finally beginning it’s first wave of distribution. Anyone else back it?

Any tips for getting into painting miniatures? I don’t play any of the big games like Warhammer. But I’d love to give so life to my Gloomhaven and upcoming Return to Dark Tower miniatures 

I wonder how many people were like me and got turned off by the constant crashes combined with the inability to save mid run. Then never got around to coming back to it once they fixed those issues. 

If you’re at the part where you just have to survive, the best bet is to save all your shotgun ammo then get onto the one roof you can access and try to stay up there. The shotgun is strong enough to knock most enemies off. Also look for the red barrels to take out some other enemies. For this part don’t be afraid to look up a YouTube video or two to see exactly how others have done it and you’ll be able to gauge how long you need to last.

I also enjoyed it. Although not as much as In Bruges.

I really liked the demo. I just hope the story doesn’t suck. 

Remember to temper your expectation on this one though. It’s really good and a lot of fun but it’s certainly not in the “game of a generation” type category haha

Cloud Atlas I really enjoyed but I 100% could understand why it was divisive and how someone could dislike it. Last Jedi I loved but 100% could not understand people that didn’t like it and when they try to explain I just assume they’re morons and incapable of rational thought. 
 

So I’m curious which of those two forms of divisive it will be.
