My understanding is that the legislature could alter the exact provisions contained within ballot initiative, but they can't "ignore" it.
I'll need some of our Ohio-based posters to weigh-in though - @Chairslinger @finaljedi?
From what I gather they could tweak it and make it worse, people think it's unlikely though. The GOP in this state got a bit of a slap tonight after the one in August, I can't see them wanting to continue poking at the Ohio electorate.

Abortion rights and recreational marijuana are both on the Ohio ballot today.

I think the problem is these goofy bastards engage with that content really hard so whenever you get served a little of it then you get a torrent if you don't click away immediately. I feel like it took like months of not clicking shit on the front page to reverse the damage one fucking Crowder video did to my recommendations.

Everyone in this thread will be long dead before Henry Kissinger decides it's time to move on to hell.

I mean her heel turn to buck the Democrats was transparently her auditioning for her post Senate career.

I hope he does, that thing making even less money gives me the warm and fuzzy feelings.

I'm breaking my rule because FOR GOD'S SAKE, SOMEONE NOMINATE THIS MAN FOR SPEAKER!
You know... Since Dennis Hastert had the job for like 8 years and was a bit of a rapist... Santos wouldn't be the worst man who's also a Republican to have held the job

Dark web operators have a nice easy way to test stolen credit cards and maybe get a little side cash(crypto, whatever) selling a twitter account.

They probably deserve more, I don't think I've ever been to a Walgreens or CVS where they weren't running around and looking understaffed and stressed the whole time

I honestly have no idea if he has enough votes to become Speaker again without Democratic support to offset Gaetz & Company.
Maybe he should try reaching across the aisle, that side has a touch less in the way of chaos agents than his.

Houses are going for higher than asking here. A place near me was listed for $560k and sold to a cash buyer inside 2 weeks. Little brick ranch style built in the mid 20th century.

A "Dark Brandon" mug is no less embarrassing than a "Let's Go Brandon" flag on someone's lifted F150.
I don't know, a mug is objectively less embarrassing. I have a Papers Please mug, but I wouldn't fly the flag of Arstotzka from the back of my Mazda 3.

Theater masturbation is for exhibitionists with some awareness. When I managed a cinema we'd get a masturbator once every year or two... that we'd know about. Then there would be the used condoms. Fun fact, seats in that top row when there's stadium seating is a little more likely to have stuff you don't want to sit in. Never had anyone get upset after getting caught and tossed though, Boebert is unique in that respect.

Absolutely no one has the foggiest idea as to how that's even remotely possible which has led to the notion that:
(a) Unity has no clue either and are just throwing bullshit against the wall to see what sticks, or
(b) Unity actually can tell the difference because there's "something" in the engine's code that can report that information back which opens up a whole other can o' worms
I mean they're Steam codes usually, does the game engine know where the purchase originated?

That's okay, Ohio ignored it and had an election last year using unconstitutional maps.

It can be stressful, but it’s also useful to know. Water is an issue that we can exercise an unusual amount of control over on the local level, or even neighborhood. For instance, one could lobby their HOA to ban grass, which is one of the most wasteful things in existence. Grass is not only water intensive to grow under pivot, but then once it is harvested, it continues to take high amounts of water to keep alive for years to come.
The local level is more resistant to change than any other level of government. You have land developers and other large companies leaning on politicians to not do anything to hurt their short term bottom lines. Then you'll also get conservatives saying the crunchy liberals are coming for your grandma's azaleas, and then nothing gets done until really really late in the developing situation. They'll just get the federal government to back water pipelines from the great lakes or whatever instead of maybe chilling out on building suburban sprawl where it doesn't rain.

Any effort to impose federal oversight would very likely face opposition from agricultural groups. The American Farm Bureau Federation, which represents farmers, said states were best suited to address groundwater problems. The federal government’s role should be to spend money on infrastructure projects and help farmers pay for new technology, according to Courtney Briggs, the federation’s senior director of government affairs.
Yeah, of course. The crooked morons that make up most of the country's statehouses will just do nothing so they don't make their benefactors mad and when it gets too bad the Governor can always ask the federal government to bail them out.

He was trying for that serious Trump look, but he had one take and instead we got pouty hiding scared face. Also because it was framed a little off all of the merch will look like just cheap sloppy shit.

Fuck me, $200 to Greg Landsman(I always gave money to anyone running against Chabot) last year and I'm still wrestling with it. I'm thinking of using a Firefox Relay or Simple Login email for political donations in the future, just kill that thing after election day.
