While it would be great if it did so, I doubt Kentuckians will mind this after all the other stuff they've overlooked.

I get this CONSTANTLY from friends who refuse to acknowledge shifting party platforms. "Republicans freed the slaves!" "Democrats started the KKK!" "Republicans passed civil rights!"

They aren't really changing it. It just won't be based on a lump of platinum that is constantly changing by infinitesimal amounts over time.

The original purpose of the house and Senate was to be checks on each other; people vs states. That power was already diluted when 1929 happened. The technology is there to be used, so use it. Outside of sotu speeches and the like, when are all the seats even being used?

We should though. Or at least remove their tax exemt-ness.
