Honestly at this point a single thread for Wrestling might be best. It's not like weekly RAW threads get multiple pages, and really only the major PPV threads get more than a few replies. There really probably isn't anything a single thread can't handle where when something is going on we can just use that. I don't even think there were weekly raw threads anymore.
I disagree, greatly. We stopped doing the weekly show threads a long time ago, but between the PPV and various news items a single thread would not allow a coherent discussion most times. Regardless of how many reaction emotes @Emblazon uses because he cannot defend his own assertion that even Wade disagreed with.

Looks fine on SNES. I did notice this on the Temporary Gray Theme. I think the best solution is to either use SNES for now or just hold out for the other themes, hopefully this weekend.
Ah, okay. I dislike SNES so I’ll just ride it out

I thought this would be about Steve-O from “Jackass” getting good at Best Buy.
I leave this thread... oddly aroused.

This isn't really surprising. It was unusual for Rockstar NOT to put RDR on PC, in fact. What would be surprising is if they manage to do the fucking port less than 12 years after the game comes out. Fuckers take forever.

This, the game engine’s code is a f’n mess for RDR1 (at least according to things I’ve read).

At least on mobile.
I mentioned it one of threads but figured a post might be useful.

Wrestling is close enough. We'll allow it.
You realize I’m discussing your assertion that all wrestling discussion needs to be contained within a single thread, correct? You can admit you were wrong. I said that the entertainment board is fine as long as we’re not getting constantly trolled. It’s okay, I’ll still love you regardless.

Well, Wade said you can have as many threads you want so...?
I know, I'm debating with someone else.

They have their own forum.

I’m fine with it
The discussion has become "all wrestling discussion should be contained in a single thread". That is what I'm arguing against.
-
No. I won't, because that's BS.
Should Sports discussion be consolidated into a single NFL/NHL/FIFA/NBA/MLB/etc threads instead of having multiple on-going discussions?
-

No, no it didn't. They just changed the name of the thread.
I remember seeing both threads on the board at the same time.
Regardless, wrestling shouldn't be consolidated into a single thread (nor should PC Hardware as someone suggested earlier). That is ludicrous. The same argument of "you're only discussing what's currently happening" can be used for most subjects discussed on this board and does not mean that everything should be consolidated into a single thread to punish those who enjoy the subject discussed.

Not the same thing. You aren't talking about a PPV months in advance, and there isn't a massive discussion about a particular RAW that happened a year ago. Wrestling is a timely subject, where, for the most part, whatever is currently happening is what's being discussed.
An apt comparison would be each wrestler is a video game. Are you going to have multiple, simultaneous discussions about each active wrestler? That's why there's a video games board.
And like Wade said, there's nothing stopping the creation of threads, and soon enough there will be the ability to more easily see what content is what without having to read thread titles.
It will all work itself out.
No, each PPV is unique with it’s own theme.
Destiny 2 had a separate thread than Destiny.
Every wrestler having their own discussion is not an apt comparison.

Yes I will consider it, but it would have to pretty consistent trolling.
In order to get a sub-board, you'd have to make a damned good case for one.
Yea, I mean, I’m referencing it being more often than not

You can have as many wrestling-related threads on either the Entertainment or Sports boards as you'd like.
I’m fine with it, but, might I ask: if the monthly PPVs and news gets trolled regularly, will you consider a sub-board? I enjoyed talking about the subject with the 6-8 WB regulars on the previous site, I’m just concerned it’ll be polluted by trolling.

All of Wrestling didn't even come remotely close to the length of the Destiny thread. And Destiny was just that--a single thread.
Destiny is a singular game, wrestling has 12+ PPVs throughout the year, 2x weekly shows, and that’s just a single organization. We would also post news on the forum as well.
The majority of threads on General Video Games didn’t equal the size of the singular Destiny thread. Let’s make all video game discussion a single thread.

It literally says in the next sentence that it can also be done via software
"Dolby Vision equipment has dedicated chips inside which read the metadata and reproduce the images exactly how they were made. Well, that was the original position that Dolby outlined, although it now appears to be supporting software solutions too. It appears that some devices will be updated via software and the new smartphone support is an entirely software-based implementation."
Its why Sony was able to update their latest line of TVs to Dolby Vision when they originally didn't intend to support it. TVs just need to have processing power to do it. Well that and TV manufactures need to cough up the licensing fees.
I edited well before your reply, like literally a second after I posted.
They’re using hardware emulation via software.

There's zero reason all wrestling related discussion can't be held in a single post.
Wrong. We used to do one for each PPV and have a multi-page thread each time. There’s no reason to change that. Having to peruse a gigantic singular thread because you’re not a wrestling fan is ridiculous.
And thanks @Jason, that’s the kind of bullshit I’m talking about.

DV doesn't require a specific physical chip.
"Dolby Vision equipment has dedicated chips inside "
DV was a hardware based solution, HDR is software based. However, it looks as though now it can use some type of software rendering through emulation...?

My concern is that one format “wins” over the other, not so much which is better. Like, for instance, if I go with an HDR-only TV and Dolby Vision “wins”, HDR will lose support and I’d be screwed on future media/content.
The benefit of HDR seems to be, much like Freesync, that it’s software based. Whereas Dolby Vision, like GSync, is hardware based. Meaning that as long as TVs meet the spec-requirements, they can be updated to newer HDR versions via firmware/software updates, Dolby Vision requires a physical chip.

I'm just impatient. I would buy a TV and sell it later and upgrade when there's a new one out. Once LG makes a VRR OLED definitely gonna buy one.
That’s a waste of money and a pain in the ass.

It did, we had a lot of good times in that thread.
