Hmm... now that I don't have any experience with.  All of my audio goes into the TV and then gets passed through the TV out to the receiver, so there is no switching involved in any of my devices or built in apps.

The PS4 thing is driving me nuts. Any time I exit a TV-app it switches the receiver input to the PS4 and turns it on. Input one is CBL/Sat which is what I have my XboneX plugged into, BD Player (PS4) is #3 so this makes no sense why it keeps trying to default to the third input.

Well, I take that to mean it is working now, at least.

    Yep! :sun:

Oooone more thing, though. On my previous TV, when switching to one of the built-in apps or using a USB stick, it would automatically switch my receiver to the input I have set for the optical out and then switch back to the previous input when exiting. However, this TV seems to constantly want to switch the input at random, it also keeps turning on my PS4 for some reason. When exiting an app it also just seems to stay in wrong input instead of switching back. What’s going on here? :(

Hmmm... when you hit the settings button on the remote you can confirm if it is HDR because it will say "HDR Picture Mode" next to the picture mode selection:

I would check settings on the PS4 as well as in the game's settings to see if it is set to output HDR

Yea, it does not say HDR like it does when the XboneX is playing HDR content. In the settings for my PS4, under video output, it does say that HDR is available and is listed as one of the output methods, but it’s not actually doing it for some reason.

It does say HDR in the corner when the game starts up, though, which is so weird.

Just finished taking down my Plasma and setting up the B7A OLED. Firstly, holy crap, the Plasma is more than 2x heavier than this OLED. Secondly, JFC is this thing thin. Thirdly, the picture quality is absolute garbage compared to the Plasma, I’m hoping that playing with the settings will fix this, but as of right now I’m in full regret-mode. :/

@nacthenud did you calibrate yours on your own or did you use settings from somewhere else? I’m seeing on rtings.com that the B7A has a fairly low picture-quality rating “pre-calibration” (“after calibration” is super high, like 8.8-8.9 or something).

God of War might be my favorite usage of hdr so far. Witcher 3 and Battlefront 2 look quite nice as well.

Did The Witcher 3 get an HDR update for PC or just consoles? I love the game but I'm not giving up hair works :p

Are there any 4k movies released in digital format?  I've been looking through amazon but can't find any.

Lol should have read the second page of the thread, post above mine asking basically the same thing.

Yes, but I believe you have to purchase them. I know Apple has 4k available via AppleTV Gen 5 - I'm curious about renting as there are a lot of movies I certainly know I'll only watch once :p

EDIT: Okay, Amazon has a handful of 4k/HDR movies available for streaming. Vudu seems like the best option in regards to renting, but it's $10 per rental for 4k which is bleh considering most UHD movies are $20.

It would have been amazing if they pulled a Becky and just swapped Bergen into the role.

The season ended with her planning to go in for knee surgery with basically insurance fraud from a flood pay-out via FEMA ("I'll collect x amount then do the work myself for a quarter of that!"). They can say with the extra money she got some plastic surgery and also got her vocal cords fixed to no longer have such a shrieking voice. :p
