Last year's show was great, I love the format Microsoft is using now.

I would actually be 100% ok if it was an Uncharted rip. An Uncharted game but set in the 1930's with that musical score and really loud "wpshhh!" sounds when I punch someone? Yes, please.

Ageism is definitely a thing; I've experienced it first-hand.

That said, I don't think that was the case here.

I do hope that by the time it hits Xbox, my buddies and I will be ready for a different co-op game. Right now we're bouncing between Diablo IV and Remnant II, and it's gonna be a hard sell to get them on board with FFXIV.

Well they got me with this one. Came for the free games, used that coupon on Dead Island 2.

Guess I'm installing their launcher now....

I may or may not need 20 hours of my life back.

I can totally get the lack of interest. Personally, I think the fact that Sanctuary is overall a pretty miserable place kinda paints them into a corner. They need to inject some life into the world and make it more interesting, but they literally can't without breaking their own lore. All of the towns and villages are just one miserable hovel after another, there's no respite. And while that's great in the scope of the game, it's a bit of a downer and I do find it hard to stay interested in something that literally has one tone the entire time.

It's why I could only watch Game of Thrones for one or two episodes at a time, or why I never finished Plague Tale: Requiem.

What the hell did I just play? Usually when I play one of these Diablo-like ARPG's, they're either really good and stand on their own, or they're average copy/paste clones, or they just flat out suck. This was a weird one that had a lot of promise and was great 90% of the way through, but just kinda fell apart at the end.

We just got through something called The Chimney last night. It was actually kind of a cheese, though. He died early and I was going a pretty good job of getting down to the bottom dodge-rolling past everything, but I died right as the crystal was hitting the bottom and when we respawned it sayed the quest was completed. So we just walked to the bottom and collected our reward lol.

I'll take anything I can get in this game. 

Weirdly enough, I've been playing Diablo IV a lot lately. I had hit a wall with my solo play after I beat the story, but some buddies had been grinding and hopped into my party to help me get to World Tier 3 so now I can actually progress my character again. The game really does get a lot more fun after that hump.

I would play Saints Row for free.....maybe.

I figured I'd throw them a bone and buy Dead Island 2 using their coupon for $26. Since I've been freeloading on their giveaways for a while now.

I keep going back to the Steam Sale.

I keep thinking I'm done.

Yeah Evil West had PS Plus/Game Pass written all over it. Glad I waited.

I always heard that a thicker Deck is preferable. 

How do you get better gear in this game? Still rolling with the same basic shit I started the game with. I have some rings equipped that up my armor rating a tad but basic bitch enemies are starting to do a lot of damage. 

Spoilers: It was fun, but also kinda sucked.

I liked the series a lot, but I hated Dead Rising 4. I honestly can't even really say what's wrong with it, but the whole thing felt "off."

I did really like Dead Rising 3 though, even though it was a decent departure from the first two. I think it hit that sweet spot of being just different enough to be fresh, but still feel like Dead Rising.
