Invading the Baltics would likely trigger WWIII. Putin's only other opportunity for expansion is probably Moldova. Even Finland, which is not a NATO member, would be a redline for the Western military powers.
I wonder if Ukraine still has the capability to shoot down these aircraft at this point? Surely, Russia hasn't destroyed all of Ukraine's anti-air defense systems.

Very strong words from Zelensky. It won't, but maybe it should, be a casus belli for neighboring NATO nations to intervene, at least in/around Chernobyl.
Without actual military assistance from the West, the best Ukraine can hope for is a bloody and prolonged insurgency. Simply giving them weapons and other aid wont cut it if they want to keep their government and military intact.
Super surprising (or maybe not?) that commanders on the ground are not either confiscating all of their soldiers' phones, or at least forcing them to turn them off.
