One of the counties here in Nevada are doing away with machines altogether. Which is what they want to do for the entire state if they win. The county of course is the same one that was very public with their ceremony "certifying" a false set of electors for Trump. They justify this by saying that voting machines can be tamper with while hand ballots and counting can't.

So unless someone has a big lead here expect Nye County to take their time counting the votes there. 

Wasn't there something out there that allows developers (and movies and TV productions) to depict have notable items, locations and things of that sort as long as they aren't a focus of the story? I recalled that is how The Getaway was able to have real world stores in the game. Once this carries over to the focus of the narrative I can see it being a gray area even with rebranding.

Baseball has a history of the lesser teams getting hot at the end of a season and riding that to not only division crowns, but pennants and World Series titles. Hell, baseball celebrates this history. This is straight fanism and wishful thinking that only certain teams deserve to get berths in the World Series no matter what..

You know, and I might be in the minority on this, but I realized the other night that I actually really like when Bob Costas calls a baseball game. I think I just really enjoy his pacing and overall knowledge of the game that makes listening enjoyable. 

One of those you knew it was gone the moment it touched the bat homers. 

Honestly the only part of not having a team in the playoffs is that I get to enjoy all the moments no matter what team does them.
