Not really surprised to see Nevada's name come up in lithium deposit discoveries again. We have a mine not to far from town, and a friend of mine just got a job at one of the gold mines in the area that is surveying the area for lithium (they bought the mine from a company for that exact reason).

This, playing on my game room computer (7950X3D 64GB RAM RTX4090) is a great experience (Right near 100fps with no fsr or anything. If I go to my living room and play on that PC (5950X 64GB RAM RTX3080) things are just bad, per DLSS mod installed it would dip below 30fps like crazy (with fsr on), post DLSS it stays in the 30-high 40 range.

One of my favorite questions that is asked from the booking process is the, "Are you currently or have used any illegal substances in the last 72 hours?" If a deputy suspects the person lies on that answer it triggers a warrant request here. 

Due to the size of our Sheriff's office here in the county, dispatch was the jail deputy's backup until patrolling units could get back to station 1. Which watching and listening on the cameras made for some interesting entertainment.

This is still highly sellable for the cult. He went for the tough guy look. 

As for the weight thing. Our jail here doesn't weigh people during the booking process, they go by what is listed on any ID. If the arrestee doesn't have ID on them they will ask the person and use a judgement call if they feel like that is the correct weight. 
 

I will also say that the only times a arrestee gets weighed during booking, is if they decline any field sobriety tests and a warrant is given for blood.  Again that is at the county jail where I live.

I don't know why that hasn't happened sooner. The Pahrump gathering was highly pictured and I vaguely remember them showing either the package of their "certification" or a receipt that they sent to out on social media. Nevada had a special version of "Hey, look at us do crime."

I don't really hear it. But to me and to the person here in town that pointed it comes off sort of after the fact. Like telling a person that is in an accident to not crash.

I more find it funny, because a few years back they put out a statement during a high wind event that if yourself in a roll over incident that you should stop driving along the US95 corridor...

I see a poll out there a few days ago that had Lake way ahead in the polls of potential matchups. If Magical Senator Sunshine Sparkles runs as a third party, it siphons more republican vote than democrat, which caused Trump's red carpet maid to lose.
