Cyberpunk: Edgerunners - 8/10

You all know the drill about this show by now so I can probably spare you the details. Basically this show is probably better than the game deserves. It's a poignant story like I said reminiscent of True Romance mixed with a heist movie and maybe even some of The Wrestler mixed in. The writing is strong as someone who has never played the game it clearly outlines not only the culture around cybernetic implants but also the consequences of having too many. The show is also filled with a lot of likable characters making the events of the show that much more impactful.

Studio Trigger did a great job with the animation, colors are vibrant, action is frenetic and I feel they really made the world come alive. While not as crazy writing wise as their previous shows I do feel that this probably the most extreme they've been in terms of gore and even nudity. Although I don't feel it's out of line with what was presented by the game, it's probably toned down in that regard. Edgerunners is a good show in many regards, it was a shame to see it have to end so soon but it was a fun time while it lasted.

They just want to make the Chargers medical staff look competent.

A Canadian pointed out to me there was an error in the video where the video says some building is is in Edmonton but it's actually in Calgary.

Well when they bought SNK they put rollback in all their games so maybe they'd be better with those properties than Embracer.

As you say not nearly as black and white but I think there's a distinction between cheated in a game of poker and cheated on your wife or punched a guy at a bar / beats his wife.

Biggie hasn't seen the show and is trolling everyone not just sblfilms, there is no bickering. Some people just can't help engaging with it.

It's not hard to be honest. If they can't open up to their own spouse and can't open up to their friends that they are cheating then I probably wouldn't want to associate with them. It's not hard to cut people off, sometimes they'll do the work for you.
