Grand Isle: 5/10

I can't recall a time when Nic Cage and Kelsey Grammer were in the same movie, so in terms of that this movie is a must see. Unfortunately the rest of the movie isn't that compelling. It starts with Nic Cage's (Walter) house getting robbed, he shoots the robber in the back and he breaks the fence. Then we are at a police station where Kelsey Grammer plays some shitty detective and he's interviewing a beat up dude that I guess we are supposed to assume was the robber, but it can't be as he recounts the story which begins with him fixing the fence. In any case it's a strange tale about a disgruntled ex Vietnam vet and his unsatisfied wife and the guy fixing their fence, Buddy, who has to stay at their house because his car won't start and a hurricane is coming. The problem is they have a sinister secret and that secret would have made a more compelling movie than what they made. I think the acting is fine for the most part but most of the characters act irrational and not just the crazy ones. But like I said it's an odd movie that conceals what would have been a better movie.

@DarkStar189 To put it in perspective the past two games (RDR2 and GTAV) both games have been planned to release within a year of their reveal.

RDR2 was announced in October 2016 and they planned to release it the next year

GTAV was announced October 2011 with a projected release date of 2013

Both games were actually delayed but GTAV still hit 2013, RDR2 got delayed a year.

So GTAVI has not been announced yet and if these trends continue you won't see it until a year after it's officially announced if not longer. Best case scenario they follow recent trends of announcing games within 6 months of release, but all of this is way off.

The only one I played was 2 because Sony sent that as a sorry gift for PSN being down for a month.

So you anticipate it will be better than the last time which was the best one you've had?

Looks like devs have be coming out in defense of the game trying to show the public that games very early in development do not look good.

Strange the Steelers didn't go for it on 4th and 1. The TD is the harder score and they were near the red zone.

You can change out the sticks but not the mechanism that would cause drift.

The show kind of gives me True Romance / heist movie type of vibes but of course set in the setting of the game.
