  1. Dahmer was dumb. Like really really dumb. I had a difficult time watching the show because he was such an idiot. It took an astounding level of gross incompetence across a not small number of people for him to not have been caught 20 times over.

I want to see a show similar to this, only about the Chicago Ripper Crew. That would be terrifying.

  2. While I enjoyed it, it felt like the film was trying to do too much. It also required pretty much everyone in the film to do stupid things just for the movie to move forward.

    Spoiler

There's also a HUGE difference between keeping and killing women in your basement, and creating a large catacomb of tunnels under your suburban house. And the fact that the guy's kids went from baby to Hills Have Eyes in a single generation. The amount of suspension of disbelief needed while watching this movie is substantial.

It's very similar to Don't Breathe... but I'd say Don't Breathe is quite a bit better than this movie.

The name is dumb, but the functionality looks good.

It's functionality that looks good that's still covering up a giant black part of the screen. There's nothing "Dynamic" about that spot when watching video.

It's also been how Galaxy devices handle notifications for about half a decade.

  4. I have last year's Buds Pro, and they're great bedtime earbuds because there's no physical buttons on them. The one real downside they have is they're really not great for working out, as they're just not secure enough. My Beats Fit Pro are still my favorite earbuds, and the only thing that hold them back are the buttons when trying to sleep. Though, I do believe you can disable the buttons in the settings.

I wouldn't mind seeing how the HD audio is with the Buds Pro 2, but I can't really justify that expense with all the other headphones I have.

  5. OK. This phone is just ridiculous. It's a one handed device when I want it, and a tablet when I need it. And dare I say, multi-tasking is set up better on the Fold 4 than the iPad Pro. I have yet to find a single thing about this device that annoys me. Even crazier still - the Samsung split keyboard is better than Google's version. Gboard has some of the same letters on both sides of the keyboard and it fucks with my brain.

  6. They announced their new Flip, Fold, Watch, and Buds yesterday.

I've got the S22 Ultra, and I've never seen a screen scratch so much so quickly... and I work from home.

I also have the Watch 4, which I really like, but the battery life is abysmal, and it's got some of the worst charging times I've ever experienced.

So, I ordered the Watch 5 Pro, which fixes both those issues, got $200 off with the trade in, and a free dual wireless charging pad.

I also once got a new car when my windshield cracked... so I ordered the Fold 4. The deal was just too good:

    • Unlocked

    • $1000 trade in (which is crazy good for a Samsung phone)

    • Free upgrade to 512GB

    • Free kickstand case with S Pen

    • $300 in Samsung credit

Im looking forward to both the smaller form factor and the ridiculously larger screen and added functionality that comes with.

I already have the Buds Pro, and they're great but you absolutely can't workout in them. They're basically my bedtime buds because I can lay on my side and it's still comfortable and the lack of buttons don't pause what's playing when pressed against a pillow.

My son keeps asking when this movie comes out because he wants to watch it at home. I hadn't checked on its status lately but I figured it was still making money in theater. Crazy.

I want to see it sometime soon.

8/23. I'm counting down the seconds while still trying to get out to see if for that 5th time. I would kill to see it in 4DX.

I've heard it's a well made show but I have a problem with this "dramatic retellings" of real events that are completely false especially when the people who actually lived through these events are still alive. It's why I haven''t watched this OR Winning Time on HBO. I don't really see the point and would rather watch real fiction. This article actually turned me off of watching this show despite the fact that The Godfather is probably my favorite movie of all time.

The Offer is based on anecdotes supplied by The Godfather producer Al Ruddy, but differ from the accounts of those who made the movie, Peter Bart writes.

Meh. I still hold Braveheart to be the greatest cinematic masterpiece of all time, despite its inaccuracies. Dramatic films aren't intended to be 100% historically accurate. They're meant to entertain. Otherwise it'd be a documentary.

Watch it. Enjoy it. If it gets you to go to Wiki and other sites to learn more, all the better for it.
