The AirPods Pro are significantly better than AirPods. That being said, I do hate in-ear buds that create a seal. If you’re not blasting music, you hear your own breathing, you hear your heartbeat, and it’s just a genuinely uncomfortable feeling. If the Pros didn’t have Transparency mode, I wouldn’t have bought them. 
 

Over-ear headphones are inarguably the best way to listen to audio from a small form factor (something that goes on your head). 
 

Apparently, the transparency mode with the Max are a level above what it was in the Pros, which is already phenomenal. And the cancellation mode betters that of the Sony’s. If the sound in the Max can come close to recreating the sound in my Sennheiser 650s, it’s a no brainer. And from the initial reviews, they do. 
 

All with the device switching convenience of Apple products—I frequently switch from my MBP to my iPhone to my iPad—the Max knows which device I want to listen to without having to reconnect every time. 
 

I did order mine on day 1. They just won’t be here until March. 

What the shit. Come back @sblfilms! Animal Crossing had just brought us all together, too.

Also, only up to 16GB of RAM? It says “Unified”, and I know that Apple devices tend to handle RAM better than Windows, but that still seems awfully low.

Should I hold off on updating any Animate themes since they’re being worked on by the creators? I’d hate to spend hours tweaking the theme only to have it all botched again right away.

We also just flew through both seasons for a second time again. Still just as good. 

I just don’t think a $50 difference is enough of a discount for the flexibility that’s being lost.
