  3. Totally worth it. If you want a co-op partner, lemme know. I haven't played for a while, but it's a pretty fun ride.
  4. https://store.playstation.com/en-us/grid/STORE-MSF77008-MIDYEARSALELP/1 I'm waiting for this to be posted on the blog so I can copy the list of games, but there are many. Some of the sales: For a great fun and addictive party/online game, nab Alienation for $3.99. Or Until Dawn for $5.99, which is single-player yet works REALLY well as a party game. Some other games others have compiled: Darksider Warmastered Edition ------------ $1.99 Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: Complete Edition - $19.99 Assassins Creed Origins --------------------- $29.99 Doom ------------------------------------------------ $14.99 Dragon Quest Builder -------------------------- $35.99 FarCry 5 -------------------------------------------- $41.99 Prey -------------------------------------------------- $14.99 South Park: Fractured but Whole --------- $19.79 Alienation: $3.99 Witch and the Hundred Knight 2: $19.99 Ys Origin: $7.99 Owlboy: $14.49
  5. If the governor had instead used one of the companies already under contract with the state, it would have cost taxpayers as little as $13 million to do the same work. Scott Amey, the general counsel for the Project on Government Oversight, a watchdog group based in Washington, said that by ignoring the existing debris removal contracts, the governor “subjected state and federal taxpayers to millions of dollars of wasteful spending.” This is a rookie mistake made by a state that shouldn’t be making rookie mistakes,” Amey added.

  7. https://news.gallup.com/poll/236420/record-low-extremely-proud-americans.aspx For me, while I'm one of the ones shouting "USA USA!" when American teams are playing internationally, the "pride" part I don't get as much since I didn't do anything to earn being an American besides being born here (it would likely be different for an immigrant who did have to work to become a citizen). I understand that when you're a minority and you've been oppressed, there's something to be said about being proud of who you are, which includes your race or orientation or religion, but ideally, I'm with less pride and more appreciation for what you are. I guess it's like that George Carlin line: you wouldn't be proud of being 5'10", so why be prideful of how you were born as if you didn't work to achieve it? Be happy, not proud.

  12. NC Republican state candidate: ”What is wrong with being a white supremacist? God is a racist and a white supremacist.” Another pro-Confederate who's racist.
  13. Still extremely impressed by how well edited and thrilling the final act is.
