Folks if it wasn't "defund the police" (a position held by very few people, let alone people in a decision making capacity) it would be something else

But unless and until there's actual data, flawed as it is, to say this was a problem you're just parroting things said by idiots like rep spanberger

The difference is it appears trump found and activated new voters who for some reason supported his bullshit, while Dems didn't succeed to the relative degree that he did

You are correct that we can't know how the polls did or why people voted how they did without all votes being counted.

    It's still a stupid slogan.

I know y'all are getting slaughtered in the streets on the daily but could you word your anti-police slogan in a way that doesn't make me uncomfortable?

Police reform isn't anti-police, which again makes the point: if you're making your pitch to Americans, there's no reason for Americans to separate "defund" from "abolish."

Republicans try to push anti-LGBTQ laws as "religious liberty." Make your pitch in a way that you don't have to explain it so much.

Cannabis legalization was on five state ballots yesterday and ran the table. Voters in Oregon, where cannabis is already legal, also approved a measure addressing street drugs and another that sought to legalize psychedelic mushrooms’ therapeutic use. Of the five states that voted on cannabis, four states approved legal recreational marijuana for adults age 21 […]

    Abrams for DNC Chair.

And I like this mindset: a lot of people wanted her to run for Senate this year. Her efforts to build the Democratic Party in the state of Georgia were way more important (and she's said she doesn't want to legislate). We need people who can build the damn party, especially in Florida where our leadership doesn't understand the many Hispanic communities.

  5. This is another good example that we need new blood to take control of the Democratic Party.

Tia Mitchell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution explains how Stacey Abrams’ efforts over the past 2 years working to protect voter rights and access in Georgia has helped make possible the state could be a win for Democrats.

Stacey Abrams is great. But there are many like her who get minority issues, get working class issues, way more than the Feinstein/Schumer/Pelosi people. The more they have a voice, the more Democrats can compete nationwide.
